I think it's best to keep your DPS dealer like Ginger in front of the ship as its the last cannon to be destroyed and they can deal damage throughout the match, support hero like Issac/ jorgen can be in the middle position and again any damage dealer or tank in the first cannon like Daredevil/ galahad.
This combination is working well for me, when tried with different captains

I wish they really showed the damage output for each cannon so that we can track total damage output for different combinations of teams.
I really like Captain Whiskur with the team: Morrigan (1st), Ginger (2nd) and Judge (3rd).They work real good

Great video showing the dynamics of the Captain Battles. I find the setup leaning very heavily towards high DPS teams as opposed to defensive ones. The best teams usually have Xe’sha as their last surviving cannon.

Not sure if each hero works with each other and their normal abilities. But I do know the abilities do work with the captains and the hero's abilities

I believe each captain works best with another set of heroes. Just have a look at the positions (canons) if they are physical, magical, or utility. Anyway, I liked the point and click like events like Auroras event much better
id 27672770 For players like me, that hold up the battles for the last day, being gained coins the prior days... my best team with Asti (1. Morrigan; 2. Isaac; 3. Jorgen) is 100% effective against Asti and Jean.. not so strong against Wiskur.. but the 42 extra coins is prime to opt to fight the 40 encounters... Thanks for the channel and the great info!
This was a garbage event. This game in general has gone from being good to pay to win to Pay to accomplish nothing. Nothing but a greedy cash grab where in some instances you have to watch ads twice in order to get the reward. You thought you were slick removing the $3.99 offers but you aren't you even stopped giving a bonus for the $8.99 gem package. Even going to far as to short the number of soul stones received from the heroic chest. hope this game goes under.

I like that they added the Heroes to this event. It didn’t make sense that Heroes were not in the last version of this event.
It’s always nice to have a different type of event to keep things slightly interesting.

If you want to complete the 8 rounds with 5 stages (40 stages) x 6 tokens per fight it will max you out at 240 brawls (assuming no losses). It gives you 40K of Brawl Coins for the shop. You can fight more but you won't get rewarded. So once you max out daily. Hold on your tokens until next day.
I've found I like Jeans ability the best but I think the magic damage seems weak since you need to break the shield anyway for the physical damage (there is only 1 magic damage on two of the ships), so I find Whiskur a little stronger.

I hate the hero portrait changing with energy, when it gets spent it looks too much like the hero died. Put a green bar across as the bottom frame as health left to right, and a yellow bar as the right side frame as energy from top to bottom.

Heros are max heroes just like most Brawl events. Any upgrades would be whatever you purchase with your brawl coin winnings in the shop.

I did the event before going to bed last night so this might be a bit fuzzy. I thought there were 5 stages and 8 levels = 40 stages (fights). If each fight requires 6 tokens this would be 6 x 40 = 240 tokens total (assuming you don't lose along the way).
