      It’s the same with puzzles. 1600 can easily do like 3000 rated puzzles cuz they know it’s a puzzle but in game they miss quite a lot of chances

    • @siddhantjhaveri
      @siddhantjhaveri 2 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      It is equal only under the condition that one side plays certain moves that are sometimes extremely hard to consider for a human. That is why you should look at the actual position instead of the engine evaluation. The player with the more comfortable position is likely to win.

      @@aronuchukwuezugo615 that's like saying where was Alireza 2800 cos he lost matches.
      Ding is not having a great tournament but that happens that's chess
      Even magnus can lose, Fabi went from 2800 to 2780.
      Chess isn't just simply about rating, it's also about consistently showing who is the best like magnus does

      @aronuchukwuezugo615 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@gffg387 I am not saying he doesn't deserve his Elo rating. But the reason why he won Duda here is not necessarily because he is 2800. If that was the case he should have won Nepo with engine lines also, and because Nepo is 27xx
      Apart from Magnus, if you ask me I think these GMs have their days. Sometimes they are on fire, while some other times they struggle.
      Being 2800 Elo or 2700 elo makes no real difference

When I get up financially I will be a member. And thank you Agadmator. I used to be so so and very inconfident about chess. Your videos have definately had a great influence on me and made me a chess fan and also made me happier in difficult times of my life. At the pause the video moments, once it is stated that the move is bizarre/ugly/strange engine like, it becomes easy to find. Ding always seems to win with cool king walks to the other side of the board to help push his pawn to victory. He has recently done it against even Magnus twice where Magnus was reduced to just shuffling his king or rook back and forward in total passivity.. same as duda(but Magnus position was even more hopeless, Duda was at least not in zugswang and could push pawns still lol). Seems like this is a motif of ding's, and how he wins vs super super GMs at the highest level if they don't make any outright mistake or blunders and fall prey to tactics or an attack in a miniature.

    Agadmator how can I purchase an autographed chess board or mug signed by you?

      I’m happy to pay a nice price if you are willing to do so. Or I can even mail a chessboard to you to sign if it’s too much of a hassle for you to provide one. Thanks!
