Okay someone’s gotta say it, they didn’t use “ canned lobster “ for their mclobster, it was only in places with an ocean near them and easy access too cheap fresh caught seafood. It was actually really really good, the one we had in maine was anyway. I think they still have it
It was a $9 lobster sandwich at the McD's in the small city in upstate New York I was passing through on my way to college. I laughed out loud when I saw it on the menu. I did not order it. They can't even produce consistent burgers, there is no way I'm spending $9 for rubbery overcooked fast food lobster!
McLEOD-MM19 no McDonald’s didn’t use all natural seaweed, they used seaweed extract added with tons of chemicals, preservatives, and dyes, so McDonald’s seaweed burger doesn’t taste nearly as good as real seaweed, as I too snack on seaweed a lot

as a McDonalds worker, and with some knowledge about products and how it works, I can say that the real fat problem comes from the bread and how its make and not from the meat.
I remember the Caesar chicken salad - it was so tasty until they revealed that with the cheese and dressing etc it had more fat than a burger... ah the 2000s 🥗 🍔
You know if they did it like little caesar with the premade pizzas only having 3 options and a call pick up thing they would have conquered the pizza industry.

I remember seeing the McLobster!! I was in Boston on a church trip, and we passed a McDonald's that was advertising it on their sign. We didn't eat there, but when I got back home down south I told my dad about it. Well he came home one day after trying to order one locally and he acted like I was crazy/made it up because the employees had never heard of it 😩
Boy, I would like to try that McD.L.T and Onion Nuggets, to be honest I think those menu will be famous since people liked multi-taste foods these days.
It was good. The secret sauce was garbage, but it actually tasted like a cheeseburger otherwise. The bun was good. The beef patty wasn't emulsified grey matter. The toppings were fresher than the other burgers. I actually quit eating McDonald's (98% quit)shortly after they discontinued it. Lol. Haven't had anything from there in over 6 years. The longer you avoid eating it, the worse it tastes when you try it again. No joke.
I remember both the McDLT and Arch-Deluxe all too well. I remember trying them both when they were first introduced and they both tasted very good. The McDLT was, in itself, a great idea as it kept the vegetable fixings cold and it was very enjoyable. It is too bad that because of activism against "Styrofoam". McDonald's could've kept it on the menu by simply wrapping it up in the standard paper they wrapped most of their other burger sandwiches in. The Arch-Deluxe was also a pretty good tasting sandwich as I did eat this during its run on four separate occasions. I have always felt that they also should have kept this on the menu as it was a very good sandwich, but as a wise man once said "All good things must come to an end." My only regret as far as the McDonald's sandwich menu goes was that I never had the chance to try the short lived "Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich" when it was on the menu. I was a child at the time this was introduced and the main reason why that flopped was because it was served after 4:00pm in the afternoon when dinnertime would start and as people who worked nine to five were starting to head home after a long hard day on the job. I felt that if that particular sandwich was served when lunchtime started, although midway in its initial test run they did try that, it would've succeeded and it would still be on the menu to this very day. Of course, the 1 dollar and 29 cent price also contributed to it's failure as at that time, regular burger sandwiches on their menu were priced at 49 cents and 59 cents respectively. I always keep wishing that McDonald's would/will one day bring back the "Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich" even as a limited time item like they do the "McRib" sandwich, but so far, they don't have any plans to bring it back, which is sad. Maybe a petition should be started to have McDonald's bring it back as when those who tried it at the time, they felt it was THE greatest sandwich made by McDonald's. I am all for starting a petition to bring that particular sandwich back for a limited time like they do the "McRib". Who's with me on this? I hope to get a lot of support for this idea.
I was on a tasting panel for McWraps at McDonald's Canada HQ. As soon as they told us the name of the product, we knew what would happen. And we were right. People called it M'Craps. McWraps are still sold in Canada and several other countries, but not in the USA. One of the proposed McWraps I tasted was made of 2 mini pork patties, BBQ sauce, and lettuce. It was a mini McRib, and I wish it had made it past the test phase, because it was delicious.
we still have cinnamon rolls in German McDonald's and they taste like shit. Probably not the recipe's fault, but they're always so dry and taste like sand.
The archburger is just a quarter pounder. If you add Big Mac sauce. That's literally it. Believe it or not the quarter pounder is the only thing that isn't frozen.
The only thing I remember was the Arch Deluxed Burger, It was also introduce in my country (Philippines) as the premium version of Big Mac . A lot of posters was distributed to promote it by the most popular actress at our country during that time Sharon Cuneta. One of the most memorable features of that burger for me is the odd four sided cut of the bun . 😂 I was born at 1990, and It was 1996 so It’s really vivid in my memory.
When I worked at McDonald’s (Australia), we had pasta on the menu - disgusting, dinosaur shaped tortellini that we microwaved and covered in red pasta sauce. It came with purple tongs to eat with instead of forks 🤣
i think the mc salad shaker would be able to do a comeback in the instagram era we live now

I remember seeing the McLobster!! I was in Boston on a church trip, and we passed a McDonald's that was advertising it on their sign. We didn't eat there, but when I got back home down south I told my dad about it. Well he came home one day after trying to order one locally and he acted like I was crazy/made it up because the employees had never heard of it 😩
I LOVED the Onion Nuggets- I wish they still had them!
Boy, I would like to try that McD.L.T and Onion Nuggets, to be honest I think those menu will be famous since people liked multi-taste foods these days.

The arch deluxe actually looked pretty good smh
It was good. The secret sauce was garbage, but it actually tasted like a cheeseburger otherwise. The bun was good. The beef patty wasn't emulsified grey matter. The toppings were fresher than the other burgers. I actually quit eating McDonald's (98% quit)shortly after they discontinued it. Lol. Haven't had anything from there in over 6 years. The longer you avoid eating it, the worse it tastes when you try it again. No joke.
When I was a teen I loved the Mc DLT. if that came back I would buy it again. Loved it.
I loved the Mc DLT. I was sad when it went away. It was so good!
They need to bring back the mcsalad shaker.
Bryan P they have it? Atleast we do here in the UK.
Come to England
@@caitlinjobling2458 dammit now i have to buy a ticket to england to get a mcsalad shaker.
5:49 was that the actress that played the original Aunt Viv in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?
I was on a tasting panel for McWraps at McDonald's Canada HQ. As soon as they told us the name of the product, we knew what would happen. And we were right. People called it M'Craps. McWraps are still sold in Canada and several other countries, but not in the USA.
One of the proposed McWraps I tasted was made of 2 mini pork patties, BBQ sauce, and lettuce. It was a mini McRib, and I wish it had made it past the test phase, because it was delicious.
Yeah we still have wraps here in the UK!
@@georgiamay5306we have them in singapore too, they’re called ‘grilled chicken mcwrap’.

Who remembers the mcwraps?😍
Why the hell did they get rid of those they were amazing!!
BBQ Chipotle crispy chicken wrap. 🤤
I loved those so much
I worked at McDs when they had those they were actually good
The cinnamon roll things were amazing and I miss them
we still have cinnamon rolls in German McDonald's and they taste like shit. Probably not the recipe's fault, but they're always so dry and taste like sand.
The archburger is just a quarter pounder. If you add Big Mac sauce. That's literally it. Believe it or not the quarter pounder is the only thing that isn't frozen.
Arch-Deluxe was actually pretty good. Glad that I got to try it.
Only tried the pizza once in 92 and neve4 heard of it again,I didn't know it lived till the 2000's
Bruh the McLean deluxe would actually be great
The only thing I remember was the Arch Deluxed Burger, It was also introduce in my country (Philippines) as the premium version of Big Mac . A lot of posters was distributed to promote it by the most popular actress at our country during that time Sharon Cuneta. One of the most memorable features of that burger for me is the odd four sided cut of the bun . 😂 I was born at 1990, and It was 1996 so It’s really vivid in my memory.

I missed out on the good stuff :(
We still have the McLobster in Canada! When I was a kid, we had mini pizzas 🍕. Never had family sized ones!
Why did they discontinued the fajitas and Pizza though? The two items were great.
The fajitas are sold in a lot of locations still but they have different names
The Filet O Fish and McChicken are still my favourites...
When I worked at McDonald’s (Australia), we had pasta on the menu - disgusting, dinosaur shaped tortellini that we microwaved and covered in red pasta sauce. It came with purple tongs to eat with instead of forks 🤣
Yes I remember that here in NZ, it was called Pasta Zoo
Those salad shakers were so bomb!! I still remember them from my childhood. Wish theyd bring them back
They need to bring back the snack wraps!
