He is gorgeous. I would not be letting people feed him lots of sugar/peppermint. Maybe one. Not good for him, esp if given every day. Makes stomach more acidic. Lots of sugar everyday can cause ulcers. Will affect appetite. Should really monitor everything going in his mouth.
Tell that to my barn full of Thoroughbreds.🤭 All but one eats approx.10 a day. Not an ulcer in the bunch and half are in their 20's and 30's. Surprisingly, I do have 2 who cannot digest raw carrots, so we steam them. 😊🐴🍬🥕
@@tessdurberville711 Consider yourself very lucky! Ulcers are common in performance horses, with an estimated 50-90% of racehorses having them. They are least common among horses turned out onto pasture. If your barn full of tbreds have been scoped and are clean that is fantastic!
@@respectdawildo_danjones508 well that's just what I do because so many racehorses have ulcers. I watch everything that goes in their mouths. But I am sure he would love one once in a while! That won't hurt anything. 😊😊😊

its for the people around him and the horses safety, if it hurt the horse you wouldve been able to notice by simple body langauge.
