The bird is cute and I did complete this as I've been folding origami for so many years, that I did it based on previous knowledge and on instinct. For those struggling with this, may I suggest clicking on the 'playback speed' in the 'settings' area at the bottom of the recording to slow it down. It does help you see what's going on as like many others, I found some areas very unclear to follow. The bird at the end of the video does not entirely resemble the bird at the start. You can pull the beak down slightly, but the wings can't be adjusted the same as the first bird and the feet are a different colour. Accept both of these changes. It's still cute despite the differences. I folded my bird from standard Kami origami paper - 15cm square (purple on one side, white on the other). Thank you JM for the tutorial.
First of all, thanks for this little tutorial. I managed to build it but I want to mention some issues so you can increase the quality of future tutorials. Speed up the beginning there are no moves here that are hard to understand or coverd by your hands by doing them. Focus on the end, I personaly had a hard time figuring out what you were doing with the head, bottom, wings and tail so pretty much everything in the last part of your video because you did the moves too fast or covered them with your fingers. Just tell us what you are doing or do the moves twice so its easier to understand. I hope this helps you understanding the viewers perspectiv :D And keep up the good work
WAH! You actually managed to do it? I started getting confused after 7 minutes-ish. I know this is 2 years ago, but if you've practised doing the bird some more, could you upload a clearer explained vid on how to do it pls? (>/\
@@humixmusic4lyf uff, this has been long ago .... I feel very old now xD But I am afraid it has been too long Thou, it is good to know that people are still out there doing origami

Hi, it's beautiful what you're showing right at the end but it's a real jump between what you folded and the bird shown at 17.08. How do I puff it up? Thank you for sharing ...
I don’t understand, why doesn’t the cover image match the tutorial?! The wings are different, there must be steps missing if this is supposed to be the same bird!
Why does the beak keep getting flipped up and down during the tutorial? What is the purpose of that? I think some folds might need some explanation, because my folds ended up in different spots and angles even though I tried very hard to follow what you were doing. Because of this the move at point 13:06 doesn't make sense. Please provide more closeups of what you are doing at the end! It wasn't clear what you were doing. Thank you for the tutorial!
I do not understand. Why is the cover photo different from your folding bird? Especially the wings are different. And folding the bird is not visible in the middle of the video. 🙁🙁
Thank you for teaching me a realistic origami work. I've always wanted to fold it because it's cute. I'm happy to be able to do it. Thank you very much.

If you mountain fold the end of the wings and pull out the beak a bit you have the same as what we show at the end.
Such a sweet looking bird 🐦
