One of the big reasons why Mobile was able to outperform the PC version was because it maintained features from the original game. The graphics were very good for an "old" mobile game until then.
The lighting in mobile is the same in all 3 cities, most people hated the metallic water effects, and the sandstorm effect in the mobile version was just completely removed.
If only the PC version didnt have bugs nor the cartoonish-style (animations, graphic & physics) it could have been 1000x better , hopefully oneday they fix all these bugs and perhaps they can re-design the textures to make it look more realistic

0:15 - that's not an animation bug. GSG did not include waves (as you noticed yourself in the video). 3:50 - that's not an animation bug. That's character's model/mesh bones being broken. GSG did it. 2:14 - at least they also fixed/changed palm trees models/meshes. They were too wide and in certain places they where glitching through other objects. 4:54 - that's still horrible. It was AI job to increase details (LOD) on far-away objects. It's a left-over as we can see after GSG. They should be re-made, damn you R*
Now a definitive edition version with all the missing bits of detail from both original and both versions of the definitive edition with the higher powered graphics of console and pc would make it the perfect redo of the original trilogy

Ive been playing for a while and i really hate that vehicles turn into polygons when ur 5 feet away from one and the game struggles to load los santos so you sometimes drive in pixels but driving at the countryside is awesome the trees look amazing when you're driving around and San fierro is a lot better than los santos because the game doesn't struggle loading everything so you don't get to experience driving through a low quality terrain, still haven't gotten to las venturas yet tho One major complain i have tho is the fps kinda effecting the vehicle speed cuz I'm stuck trying to get gold in the barrel roll level in driving school cuz the car is slightly slower which makes the roll extremely precise
the worst part is they inverted thee under water controls, i struggled wondering why CJ could not go under water and kept floating up, after i realize under water controls are inverted by default i was able to adapt to it and go under water to beat the mission.
It's got way less variation in weather/time of day conditions between all the locations vs PS2 original. Don't be fooled, this port is another lazy job.
Gta trilogy will be known for cross play in various platforms in fact Grive Street made two remastered from the original trilogy and ported them in mobile

My job is in Quality Control dept. The problems I see in GTA Trilogy is so many glitches and in the vehicles you see hollow area like in Trucks and Yosemite pick up trucks The wheels in the back are missing and the bf injection on the left side of the wheel the suspension area 😎☝️

The only downside of the mobile version is if you play the game for around 1 hour the resolution will automatically lowered I was playing on the m2 ipad pro so this must be a bug or something.

5:14 the problem is probably that phone storage is slower to load than the modern ssd pc. The phone also suffers from other heavy mobile games
That's LOD and draw distance. Agreed that phone storage is no SSD but they are fast as a 7200 rpm hdd.

Shadows in mobile are a bit laggy, this the reason why the headlights doesn't reflect shadow in it.

Idk why but i liked pc version i played both mobile nd pc version of it
Most likely cause it looked and performed better. At least graphical.
fog on pc makes it feel like a playground, fog on mobile version gives it the right feel
overall i prefer the PC version. but would be interesting if it will get an updated to and the new features from the mobile version
