That is actually surprising. I was thinking about picking myself up a commemorative. To me, the commemorative looks 10x better.

Luxcius true but i would rather have an always on sale commemorative belt other than a $400 metal belt. I mean the on the commemorative you save atleast around 300-350 bucks. And I don’t have that ‘$400’ moolah. I would rather get a plastic $150 dollar belt which I think is affordable.
@@justinxplayz2863 I own both commemorative and nice replicas, very expensive ones. They're cool but that money could go other places. Commemoratives are solid. You're completely rational in making that assumption.

I have an authentic World Heavyweight title I bought at SummerSlam 2005. Someone bought me a plastic spinner title that John Cena created. I see the difference. I'd rather pay the money. The plastic one looks like a toy for a child.

Basically what I got from this is
Replica: is metal & has interchangeable side plates
Commemorative: is good quality plastic and has no interchangeable side plates for a fraction of the price

The same can be said for the WWE Universal Championship belt if you are planning to buy that one as well.
The commemorative is definitely better than that cheaper one in the box at toys r us.
Also a commemorative is lighter for travels to events replica is more heavy and it will hurt your shoulders when you walk around

My commemorative belt I bought at a live show yesterdays has screws and the pegs in front , has it changed to be removable I wonder.
Mine had them to and I removed the side plate screws and the side plates did not come off so I just put the screws back in, guess their just for support and detail.

I actually thought so too after watching it again. But I ended up measuring them with a tape measure and they are exact. I think it may be the angle of the video.

Up to you. I think the commemorative replica belts are great. They look just like the real ones for half the price. But then again, being able to change out the side plates of the real one is a pretty cool feature.

The reason for that is the commemorative replica has a deeper curve in the main plate which gives the appearance of a more rectangular look, whereas the metal replica has a shallower curve in it which gives the appearance of a more square look.
Does the commemorative belt have a plastic gold tip, or is it a metal gold tip?
I thought the bottom (comm) before u flipped it over. The replica looks smaller and not as shiny
My belt says commemorative on the strap but has screws and the little notches on the side of the side plates so at this point I don’t know if they swapped the replica on to a commemorative belt strap because it sounds like metal but I don’t know for sure
Compared to the 20 dollar belts is the commemorative plates a lot better plastic and a lot more sturdy ?
I’m curious, since you have both. Which one do you think would not ware down as much? I would like to get the metal version, but now that I’m thinking about it, that would probably ware down more easily then the plastic version? Idk just curious.
not sure. I think the plastic one would have more chance of the gold flaking off. I noticed that there were some imperfections with the coloring (some bubbling on the gold paint) on the commemorative version that wasn't on the replica version. So I'd assume the metal one is much better quality for the long run

Absolutely. It still fits just like the other one. The metal version is a couple years older so maybe it just has more wear

dont call it the real version they are both replicas but one is more expensive than the other clearly is going to have better things and features the cheaper wont have

They are plastic so you probably don't want to be too rough with it, but I haven't had any problems with it so far

u didn't have to flip them for us to tell because the side plates on the replica has 2 extra gems on the side disk
Good eye. That's one of the giveaways for the 2013 version, however I noticed that the 2014 version does have the gems as well, so probably even harder to tell the difference

I think fans been complaining about the plastic rivets that they started to put screws and u can get them releathered. My IC commemorative belt had screws on em.
From what I've heard, the commemorative ones you can buy now have removable main plates but still no removable side plates. The commemorative one in this video was from 2015

i was thinking commemorative but i prefer metal. i want security it's hard to break metal. the plastic for the commemorative is strong but i don't trust it over time metal lasts.
Depends on what you use the belt for. If it's just for display or bringing to live shows, then commemorative is just fine. But if you intend on dropping the belt on the ground frequently or using it to bash skulls in, then the commemorative isn't for you. I've had my commemorative for 5 years now, it's still fine and looks good too. Brought it to live events and all... No problems.

What is the difference between the replica title and the actual real title that the champion holds?
the real WWE version (the one you see on TV) will have real leather, real gold plating, and real jewels (I believe). The metal replica is Metal, fake jewels, and a simulated leather strap.
thanks for the info, i never knew that. and there is only 1 real WWE version? Sometimes you see them sell a signed one at WWE auction and it's like "the title Alexa won at payback" and I wonder if that is a real one or a replica.
most likely the ones they will auction are the replica versions, and just say it's the same "style" as the ones worn by the superstars. But I'm pretty sure they make a few extra real versions just in case something ever happens to the original
Sorry for a late reply. But I would just like to say that when a WWE superstar becomes champion, he or she gets assigned 3 belts. Belt 1: the normal title you see on the weekly shows and ppvs, the belt that gets repainted over and over. Belt 2: HD version. This belt has more detailed finishing and the paints are of higher contrast and made to shine more. This is for meet and greets in public places and for photoshoots. Belt 3: this belt is the same as the replica on wwe shop but with paint meant to last way longer. This is the title that the superstars can take home and are used in house shows. This title is for them to carry around whenever they want/display it in their display cases at home.
So the auctioned titles you see are actual titles won by them in their victorious match. The title from Belt 1. Its not much to replace the belt for them, but on auction, they can make huge bucks for it

It's rare to find the commemorative versions at live events other than big shows like Wrestlemania. Occasionally you'll find replica versions for $400 or more. It is better to buy them on WWE Shop when they go on sale. Sometimes they go as low as 40% off if you're patient ($150 or so)
Bayley Austin I've been traveling and going to wrestle mania for the past 5 years and I go to Monday night raw and smack down when its in town, and they only have belts at wrestle mania, you could those cheap plastic ones, but yeah u could get one at wrestle mania or online :)

Nwachukwu Chukwura the Toys R Us ones are a little different. The strap is lower quality and the stones aren't as sturdy. Also doesn't come with the carrying case. But yes, they are still pretty cool

I'm a huge WWE fan too crazy fan. Till now I was thinking I couldn't afford the metal one only but I still can't afford the commemorative one too. I just can imagine what I'd feel like to have that life size championship in my hand.
