Panning an eye shadow palette seems daunting to me, but I am always impressed when I see people do it. I think you could definitely do it! It seems like you’ve got a good balance between using up products and not neglecting the rest of your collection.

I think rather than a pan that palette maybe first think about a project to hit pan in every shade. I have a pan that palette going atm and i'd already worked last year on hitting pan in all the shades. It's so much easier to stay motivated when you're starting from already having some pans. Also i would recommend not making the goal to finish every shade, but just to finish the shades you really like - at least at first!

I love it because it helps me focus on using all of my shadows and I have the challenge of hitting pan on shadows, but not necessarily using them up. Through two years of use, taking out shades I didn’t like, and repressing shadows into other palettes or single shadow containers, I’m now down to 13 shadows, three of which already have pan in them. So many beautiful looks!! I love the color story in Norvina; I have been panning the Bad Habit dupe of that palette (Luna) and I never get tired of it. I am sooo tempted to get Norvina in the Ulta sale.

I was thinking, maybe instead of fully panning the palette, what about making a goal of hitting pan in every shade, then rotate in another palette if you hit that goal. That way it is a bit less daunting and you can still play with all of your other palettes. I've also been enjoying the reels you've been posting on IG!

A lot of the shades have carmine so I will have to avoid this palette, but hopefully others will get a chance to grab it. Nice job.
Sarah - instead of doing a traditional PTP, how about doing what Amber F is doing this year where she’s using 3 palettes until hitting pan on 3 shades in each palette. Once achieved, she roles out that palette and roles in another. You could do 2 new pans in 2 palettes instead. It’ll reduce the boredom of trying to finish shadows. Joyful Beauty did something similar a few years ago where she worked on 2 palettes at a time until hitting pan in one shade, then rolled it out and another in. Lots of variations instead of just sticking with one palette all year. Looking forward to whatever you choose to do. TFS - Lorie
I’ve had an ABH palette where the pan gets a nasty weird looking colored pan. All performed well and didn’t irritate my eyes. Some pans were more discolored than others
Awesome to see your looks! I find pan that palette so strange because I only have 1 palette really (and same with most people I know) so I feel like we’re all technically “panning” all the time but really I’m just using makeup normally lol.
Pan that palette is hard lol bc I used to do it more frequently then stopped and am doing it not as well now 😅 My advice would be to choose a smaller palette with either fewer pans, shallow pans, or less gram per shadow. It’s still satisfying to get use out of them, but some palettes are more difficult than others.
Look #19 and 20# were my favorites. I'm just now starting to get into this palette, a little late to the game haha;-) I love 1 month 1 palette! But of course I do understand if you want to shorten the time to 1 or 2 weeks. But I do also feel that a lot of time I have to use my make up a few times to understand how to work with it the best way and to truly fall in love with it. I like the idea of a pan that palette, however I tried to do it at one point and found it very hard to finish all shades. I’ve watched you with the Walking on Eggshells quad and that’s been hard enough. My opinion is if you decide to do a “pan that palette” that you maybe make up some other goals instead of just using up the entire palette. Maybe hitting pan on every palette and finishing up 1/3 of the shades completely. Or something else like that….

This might be one of the weirdest compliments you receive, but you give me vibes of a younger more simplistic version of Tati! And I mean that in a good way 100%! 😅 You have the sophistication, the careful and thorough reviews, and the whole aesthetic. But in a simpler, more realistic and relatable approach. I do hope I am making sense! LOL Regardless, I also want to say I really enjoy your videos and you inspire me to curate my collection and make the best use out of the products I own, rather than constantly buy new ones :)

I used to feel that way about it too lol!! Now that I've had it for a while I've grown to really love it though! It helps to apply the shimmers with your finger and only apply a small amount at a time since they're so pigmented. If you apply them like other shimmers you will get fallout city!

I feel like the discoloration on the pan is probably some oils in your brushes reacting with the metal, maybe causing them to oxidize.
i think it has more to do with the formula of the shadows, since it only seems to happen to people with ABH palettes!
