There sure are some posh motorhomes there. I was surprised by how grand some of the showers were. Better than a lot of hotels! The price tags make my eyes water a bit. I might need a mortgage. Thanks for showing me around. If I win the lottery I will sure be in the market for one 🙂

It’s on our channel how we fixed it up on our own. It was a lot of work, but it looks really good now the Lord was really with us on that one. Hello MsKayak, yes the motorhomes are very well designed for sure but each one has something different for everyones taste. Yes our van the Elddis they have just changed the seating colours by adding mauve, we still like ours though. Tony enjoys looking around but isn't keen on talking about the vans. There are some beautiful vans, that's for sure. We were looking for one, possibly this year. A couple of questions. Your Elldis:- Is there a drop-down bed, or are the bench seats the bed? The electric external hookup. Is there a converter plug needed for Europe, or is it a universal plug? The cassette for the toilet, what is the capacity, and how long will it take to fill up with normal use? How do you empty it? Does the cassette pull out, then you take it to your loo and empty or attach at the last night of your holibobs to the campsite loo disposal and do it there? Is there a brown water tank separate to the loo cassette? Is it gas bottles? 13kg or smaller one, and how long will this last with normal use? Do you take a spare with you? Lastly, what is your fresh water capacity, and do you fill this up prior to going to a site, or do you reduce weight and fill it up there? I know there are quite a few quite a few questions, and I really appreciate any help you can give me. Amanda is off work for the next two weeks, and Brownhills at Cannock, if this is where it is, is only 15 miles for us. Might just take a trip out and a looksee. I do like that Mercedes one, too. It would be great to use as a base on my hikes, too. It's a great video, very informative. Thanks for sharing Julie and Tony and a Happy New Year, and I wish you a fantastic 2025. Hi Chris, Wow, I will see if I can answer your questions. No our can doesn’t have a drop down bed the two bench seats make up into a double bed or use the bench seats as singles , the captain chairs swivel and are level with the bench’s that’s how we sleep with a gap between to get to the loo in the night You would need a converter plug if travelling abroad The cassette is around 18 litres. It normally lasts us about 2 days. We like it to stay fresh. Other people may leave it 3 days. You can see when it needs emptying as a red light comes on. It slides out from the outside and has a handle like a trolley where you take it to the Elsan p point to empty it. Not to the toilets. The grey waste from sink and shower goes into a separate tank again the control panel tells you when it’s full. We have 2 gas bottles, 6 kg, we only take one with us just in case! We are usually on campsite with electric hook up. If we are off grid which is rare we take 2 bottles with us. It’s hard to say how long they last as it depends on whether you are using the heating on gas or just for hot water and cooking. We’ve have replaced one bottle in 2 years, if you were in Europe and off grid you would probably use a lot more. However there are campsites and eires out there. Our fresh water capacity is about 90 litres. No always travel with an empty water tank or very little to reduce your payload. We always fill up on arrival at a campsite. Brownhills we visit is in Newark Nottinghamshire and it’s a massive site with so many vans to see. Thank you so much for watching and enjoying our video. Yes we will be doing another flying video. She's agreed to 65k, just wondering if I can push her further. But to be honest, we only need a 2 berth. No kids, so perfect size.

Hi Alan, we have a free Christmas lunch on Brownhills Motorhomes every year , we are members for as long as we have one of their vans. Plus 4 free event weekends a year where there are singers/comedians /dancers etc. also another free meal to be taken by the end march, yes cannot fault them for looking after their members.
