You can also use Sodium and Iris to use shaders, available in the modpack that's featured in my most recent video (shameless plug)

I would recommend minimizing the settings because the shader uses Voxels to translate light. I have a Radeon 6700 so the graphics might be a bit better because of that. The shader it’s based of though is complementary reimagined! Enjoy :)
seems like you've got some sort of cloud mod going on, i just wanna say it's DEFINITELY hindering the beauty of the skies in a few of these shaders. on its own, photon has the absolute most UNREAL sky and clouds I have EVER seen. I've been around the shader stuff a while, i've tried most of the big ones in the past maybe like 4 years like chocapic, seus, continuum (i hope is still gonna be going somewhere), sildurs, bsl, complimentary, and most of the other ones seen in this video and beyond, including some other lesser known ones. but out of all of them, photon definitely stood out to me. there's another shader that's quite similar called bliss, and I love it as well. bliss to me i think is an ever so slightly more cartoony version of photon.

Honestly you could probably use make-up shaders with any mid-range laptops. Just make sure to install Sodium and Iris to host the shaders instead of optifine.

I love complementary shaders but its just so bright. I try and turn the brightness down and doesn't work.
You can try turning the brightness down on the monitor you're using, or try to go through the settings of the shader.

@GameEd Photons water could be slightly better, but everything else is perfect. I also pair it with Faithful 32 x 32 resource pack, sadly not 64x64. My pc doesn't like it too much.
Just downloaded my first shader and it's complementary unbound, but man is it GPU intensive. Idk if I wanna download another one tho cus its so beautiful
Try astralex, it’s the best looking shader I’ve ever used before besides paid shaders like NostaligaVX and KappaRT

Rethinking voxels is even better imo. It’s a edit to complementary reimagined but adds path tracing.
@@timeblade BUT It's a lot more GPU intensive than any complementary shader. It's not exactly path tracing that it uses, it's light voxels to display light.
@@GameEd Well yeah, If you can run it i’d recommend it but it really just depends on your gpu. And It’s not exactly path tracing but it’s somewhat similar.
