Dude, you're pretty good but I'd like to point out something that can save you quite a bit of time. Early in the game, you were quite adamant in trading for logs/wood and wasted a lot of time trying to get logs from your opponents. However, if you paid attention to the rolls, you would have noticed that 4, 9's, and 12's weren't rolled for the longest time which meant your opponents had no logs to trade. Thus, your efforts were futile. So maybe just try to keep track of what is rolled and that will raise your game up a level. A good way to do this is to look at the game log rather than be on the chat. Hope this helps (from a fellow grandmaster).
At 37:29 couldnt you trade 3 wheat to get 1 wood, build a road off of 8 4 to the wheat port and build a settlement and win the game? am I missing something? did someone else already point this out?
I think these placements really show why 3/4/6 was the correct placement for red. Nice vid! Towards 35:00 you should've definitely taken the wood trade, build 1 road, convert 1 ore or 3 Ore and end your turn. I think you can see so in hindsight
At 34:37 I am begging you to just trade up for 3xOre... then you have so much wheat potential in the next 3 rolls to win game it is good calculated risk... and then guess what... wheat was rolled like every time after that until your next turn, you would've won! I really like your vids lol. :)
Hi guys , i dont fully understand , what i can unlock if i buy 400 gold and buy catan base game . I can get multiplayer , singeplayer , game for 4 players and i will have each map different ? Or is there something more or less. Thanks for answering .
17:44 two 9s were just rolled in a row, distributing 10 wood onto the board, making it completely in abundance. I get that you're desperate for wood at this stage, but why would you offer 2 sheep for 1 wood as your very first offer? Try a 1 for 1 first, almost guaranteed someone would have taken it. These small mistakes lose games.
22:15 another mistake, you should have just held your road. Why build it now when you could build a road+settlement next turn, and sneak to the port before orange gets there. I also think you're making a huge mistake just dumping all your resources into development cards whenever you can't build something. Better off holding until the next turn and being able to progress towards your win condition.

I was shouting this into my screen
42:58 Purple probably wanted to give an end to his misery!
37:30 Build road to the weed port, trade weed 3:1 for wood, build settlement, win the game.
forgetting the fact that he can't build any more settlements, you can only have 5
Pls come back Ink 😢
Hey are there more of these? I love your commentary:)
you are the Eric Rosen of Catan, noice
I think you only won because red was so bad at the end.
Thanks to you I learned a lot

I think at 33 you should have asked for a wood and built in front of red. There was no hurry to build the settlement yet
But a very good game overall!
Videos are great but your channel icon is kinda creepy man
Is there a way to play the game with random boards without having to spend money?
Try colonist, its a free to play catan clone.
@@sweetgamerchick1904 OK thanks!!
Game ended here if you converted 3 wheat to a wood. 37:31
Just build a road to wheat port and then a settlement.
He can only build 5 settlements. His only way of winning the game is making a city or pulling for another vp.
Mistake on 37:50 , build road and house hahahah
he doesn't have an more settlements to build, you only get 5 of those "houses"

Yeah that seemed not the best offer when there is so much wood, especially if some guys are on such low sheep. No reason to immidiatly offwr 2 sheep

he can't, he's at the limit
@@F0R3ST1230 At this point in the game, he only had 3 settlements.
