I was at HMS Ganges in 1964 (school trip) I now remember why I didn't join the navy !! As a knock kneed 14 year old the thought of 'going over the mast' terrified me....Sill does.... well done to the many who did. Bob R.

I was probably there 10yrs old, used to love the field gun runs! Dad was stationed in hanger 1, masu smash and grab. Great times!

I did this too but in 1994. loved every minute of it. Lt John Pantelli was out OIC. great times. Hearts of Oak will always stay with me.

Impressive, but not as impressive as the Ganges mast where the button boy had to shimmy up the pole to the button.
