In 1982, Lushan Mountain was promulgated by the State Council as the first batch of national scenic spots. On December 6, 1996, it was listed as a world cultural heritage [8]. In 2003, Mount Lu became one of the top ten famous mountains in China. [9] On March 7, 2007, it was rated as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.
