We went Whale Watching & Released Baby Turtles!

Welcome back to our channel!
We’re a couple from Canada who loves to travel! We were traveling Asia in 2019, and were forced to go home because of the “C” word.
Now we’re back!
We are currently traveling in Sri Lanka. We started in Colombo, & are making our way down the south west coast.
We spent 2 days at the beautiful Mirissa beach. It was the nicest beach on the south coast that we visited. It’s unique as it has 2 sections, which you can see in the video. One side was for the swimmers, and the other side was more for surfing.
The beaches are split by the rock formation that is in the spotlight pic for this video. I didn’t realize that I could actually climb it. The climb was a little interesting, lol!
It wasn’t the safest, but the views were worth it!
We also were able to take part in releasing baby turtles, & an early morning whale watch!
We love anything to do with animals, so this was definitely a highlight for us!
