RIP to a great lady, she was a real character and it must have been really hard for those around her to see her fade away. Alzheimer's is as close as I can imagine to a torture, let's hope we make advances towards research and prevention.
FYI to super sweet and kind people: "commandeering" personalities are often attracted to you because they think they can control you. Watch out for partners like that.
