When Chozen said "you keep for your collection" he said the same line in KK2 after Kumiko threw something and hit his back, he than took off his shirt and said that.
Tanner Buchanan is actually a good athlete. He did a lot of the stunts himself. You will see more in future episodes where his fight scenes are clearly done by himself and not a stunt man, whereas many scenes for the other actors you could tell they used stuntmen.
Such a great episode the callbacks to the second movie and the return of Chozen and that closure between him and Daniel was much needed.. Robby taking some cobra kai lessons and striking first.. and that fight with Hawk breaking Demetri’s arm.. things only get crazier, can’t wait to see your reaction to the next episode!
I saw a great comment somewhere else about the previous episode saying when Kreese says "When our boy gets out we'll get him back on his feet" he was talking about Robby as that is the kid Kreese has been wanting in Cobra Kai since day 1 and Johnny saying "Go anywhere near Miguel or his family and I'll kill you" confirmed to Kreese that Johnny's loyalty is to Miguel leaving Robby open to Kreese's influence
At this point in the story, although Johnny loves both Robby and Miguel, he has a closer connection to Miguel than to Robby. Robby continually puts Johnny down, even insulting him to his face and in front of others, but Miguel has been respectful and obedient to Johnny.
The actor that plays Shawn in juvi with Robby did a couple of seasons on The Walking Dead also. His skills are real. And one of the best aspects of this show is the constant throwbacks to the movies, and using all the original actors. The return of Chozen is a real gift to this show. Glad you're enjoying it, and the best is yet to come.
Handing Daniel the scroll, “You keep for your collection”. In Part 2 when Chosen takes his shirt off and throws it at Kumiko for hitting him with a tomato he told her ”You keep for your collection. I know you like.”
The truest words in this episode are by Sam: "If you really think karate is the problem then you haven't been paying attention." TRUTH! Love that rebellion in a teen who is smart and tough. If she was in my high school when I was 16-17, SHE is the type of woman I would want to date. Those guilty feelings can be diminished by self-realization and help from someone, a bf let's say that gets it. Help her thru the fog to see further down the line. Potential in being a great person.
Watched it on Patreon watching it again 🎉 Chozen has Returned! I loved him and Daniel and Johnny with he's student ☯️👏❤️ I actually meet that actor Chozen for a charity stream super kind guy🤘 Great reaction and review as always All Hail The Farley Family 💚
A more calm and tactical Sam would have had Chris call the police to arrest Hawk and co as they were on camera doing what they did. I'm sure Sam would have had the biggest smirk watching the police cuff Hawk as he would have tried to resist arrest.
When are you guys going to post your KK3 video, between the end of 3 and beginning of 4? And, if you guys like they way the show is going now, believe me, it gets better! I look forward to the ride!!
That was a real slap when Amanda slapped Kreese. They told the actress that even if she accidentally makes contact, that the actors continue on with the scene so they won't ruin the take and have to do it over again.
If you are gonna do Karate you should look into Kyokushin or Ashihara. Full contact, knockout Karate 😁 Also, this show is so sick. All off the people they bring back from like 30 years ago are the same actors.
Chozen is a name that is supposed to imply leadership (Japanese word "cho" means long or lean, or leader) and tranquility (Zen is a Japanese school of Mahayana Buddhism emphasizing the value of meditation and intuition).
@@3rdstreetreactions Did you see the news yesterday about the new 2024 Karate kid movie (Jackie Chan + Ralph Macchio)? I think the 2010 movie is now officially canon and part of the MCU (Miyagi Cinematic Universe).
Sam provoking the attack, is logically not the smartest move, but I understand it. When WOTC came after us, it was traumatizing and we felt powerless in the situation. Sam is just trying to regain some power in the after feeling so abused and helpless, but unfortunately, it's not as easy as picking a fight when the odds are against you.
Due to time that passed with Covid causing a delay the son Anthony grew and lost a bunch of weight. Because this was supposed to be weeks later after the school fight the creators should’ve just left him out of this season. That’s my only complaint on this season. That continuity error.
Fair point. I just wish they went into that moment unaware of what was about to happen. It's one of the best moments of the series. All good, I'll be watching to the end!
PTSD from a fight that you won? Plus you went looking for the fight and wasn’t caught off guard. Her adrenaline was already going. Okay that’s my second criticism of this season. Though there are very few over 5 seasons. They continue to shock when I think “They can’t keep up this hot streak”, then the next season drops and we’re back to square one.
@@Kayoss13212 they also tormented him over a period of time. I think they were trying to recreate the trauma storyline from Part 3 which I didn’t agree with. It would’ve worked better as Part 2 because you don’t win a fight to the death and then be scared to death in a tournament.
@@The2Coolest2 oh right because the trauma of war is comparable to winning a street fight that was a 1v1. I get that a friend got hurt, but she had just went looking for two fights. The soccer field and laser tag.
The return of Chozen was AWESOME! Add to that Kimiko and the girl he saved - these writers have it right!
Amanda referred to Kreese as “Rambo” in the dojo.
He was a soldier in the Rambo movie.
Brilliant!!!👍🏾

Once your PTSD takes over, the flight, fight or freeze response immediately kicks in. For Sam, in this moment 12:24, it was freeze

Nah. I'm pretty sure he kept it vague on purpose. To see which one Johnny would protect first. And he went for the other

Chris could have called the police himself instead of calling Sam. In fact, hardly ever the police is called even when it makes sense to do so.
16:32 I can never forget seeing that in the trailer

I would've been done the whole season in one day
Just a heads-up, if you haven't watched Karate Kid III yet, you would want to do so before the next season. No spoilers 😅😅😅
They should have seen KK3 before season 3 of Cobra Kai. They already missed something .

The big bad cobra kai members are at Chris's job harassing him and stealing stuffed animals. Compare this group of clowns to the Cobra Kai of KK1.

No, but he did with demetri really crossed a line
Worst than Sam, Miguel, Robby and Tory, yes.
