It works super well but it works even better when you know the lore. The music sounds like its part of an ancient tradition going back hundreds of years, but its laced with techno elements. You can tell its artificial. The tournament and arena themselves are the same, where they look super old and traditional, but were just made to look that way. Its barely been open for any time at all, and is part of the facade jp puts up in neyshall to try and present himself as someone who "understands" the culture, when in reality he is just taking advantage of it for his own gain. Its some really good stuff.
This game's soundtrack is well mixed across the board, but this one specifically is reeeally good, each instrument has so much depth and the bass hits so hard
I know right? Each chord progression, each melody, the drums and percussions, the creativity in the instruments used... They all have a purpose. It's so mesmerizing
@@fabianoyaga8610 SFIV had Volcanic Rim which is absolutely iconic don’t get me wrong, but overall I think the character themes are way better. Guy and C. Viper are big standouts in my mind. And for SFV I don’t think it’s even close in my opinion, some of the character themes in that game are still the best in the series for their characters
This music is pretty darn perfect for what it's trying to achieve, it's the musical embodiment of a tournament with shady business going under the lively facade.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Stage setting are that of a tournament for Fighters in Indonesia. Basically where those MK tournaments were held. Well that or Nepal.
All I can think of when listening to this is Luke and Ken throwing down, all the people in Nayshall viewing Ken as a terrorist and wanting Luke to take him down while JP has a sadistic grin on his face knowing that his plan came to fruition
This feels appropriately dark considering the two fights this stage is mainly associated with are both undeniably tragic in nature and brought about by sinister schemes.
I think this theme better works as JP theme than his official one. It is mysterious, with beutiful melody of Nayshall, but at the same time evil. KInda like in sf4 both Seth and Secret Laboratory themes suits them really good
The mixing done here to link all of the segments together was excellent, and the quality of the track itself is also stratospheric. I've been checking iTunes once a day to see if Capcom's dropped the OST yet or not; really hoping they don't wait a whole month like they seem to have done with SF V and the release of the Arcade Edition OST. Thanks for stitching together and uploading all of these tracks, Viper!
This sounds so good. You can tell this stage and track is Nepal as hell. Im pretty sure Nayshall is probably Kashmir or somewhere in that region and always thought maybe JP is from there(judging from his design)
Reminds me a bit of Mortal Kombat Deception and Deadly Alliance, in a good way, those two often mixed techno/electronic music with traditional instruments from different cultures.
I low key wish the game gave us an option to switch between Character Themes and Stage BGM. This one is way better than JP’s Theme and sounds like a Final Boss theme.
This is THE best background music for training mode, change my mind (I mean, obviously its dope in battle as well, but I just love training on this stage...)
Capcom really went for the “Ancient fighting tournament that only happens every 100 years” vibe.
actually if you read the comic...
Totally the oldschool MK era vibe
Very much Kumite vibes.
@@lightwiz Kumite fr

The stage themes in general seem to be really good
I think this is the first Street Fighter game where the stage themes are the best part of the soundtrack, they’re all so sick
Street themes in Street Fighter. Seems logical
Stage themes being better than character themes has been a thing since Street Fighter IV, in my opinion.

I dunno SFV had a lot of banger stage themes
Rio Theme in SFV > Laura's theme; Still mad, outright fuming to this day that those two weren't switched around
Jeeez this is super sick.... Love how dynamic SF6's music... It just never keeps you in one place
Those bells hit so darn hard, even when they play in reverse
This music is pretty darn perfect for what it's trying to achieve, it's the musical embodiment of a tournament with shady business going under the lively facade.
Well put. JP’s shady but classy as hell lol
This reminds me of MK1/MK2 music in the best way. Incredible track 🔥🔥🔥
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Stage setting are that of a tournament for Fighters in Indonesia. Basically where those MK tournaments were held. Well that or Nepal.
I could definitely hear that. I wish modern MK music was as exciting as the older arcade games
@@galacticspecter4364it is now, have you heard MK1's music? 👀
All it needs is that guy in the back yelling _"MOOORTAL KOMBAAAAAaat!"_
All I can think of when listening to this is Luke and Ken throwing down, all the people in Nayshall viewing Ken as a terrorist and wanting Luke to take him down while JP has a sadistic grin on his face knowing that his plan came to fruition
Finally, this theme is the music of the trailer Outfit 2 ! The part at 5:35 is crazy.
This feels appropriately dark considering the two fights this stage is mainly associated with are both undeniably tragic in nature and brought about by sinister schemes.
The avatar Vs JP and Ken Vs Luke, right?
WORLD TOUR SPOILER
I really hope we get the burning version of this stage as DLC, it's too sick to be stuck in one fight
I think this theme better works as JP theme than his official one. It is mysterious, with beutiful melody of Nayshall, but at the same time evil. KInda like in sf4 both Seth and Secret Laboratory themes suits them really good
i love this evil ass theme, devious sets will be played on this stage 😈
Feels somewhat sinister doesn't it ?
Considering what happened in the comics this is definitely the Ken vs Luke encounter theme
@@dusathemaid I can hear this with Ken Vs JP as well
@@CornNNNick After playing World Tour's final boss, yeah... This track just took on a whole other level of sinister.
@@dusathemaid that ending got dark real quick
Screw JP after world tour.
The real jp Theme in my opinion

End of July....
Man, the stage themes have a serious SF4 vibe, it's the bass.
This sounds so good. You can tell this stage and track is Nepal as hell. Im pretty sure Nayshall is probably Kashmir or somewhere in that region and always thought maybe JP is from there(judging from his design)
Nah don't let Johan Petrovic fool you he is Russian
@@abdulazizmohammed8797 He's not Russian, it's a fake identity.
Feels like Bison's Thailand stage theme reinterpretation for JP
They really went ham on the stage themes, holy shit
5:58 This part is so good!
Genuinely the best part of the soundtrack.
The stage themes are on a complete tier above the character themes.
I had heard hits and pieces of this , and when I was in training mode I was like "This song is such a jam, and my new training stage"
4:05 was the best part for me
Agreed
*MORTAL SUVAL'HAL !*
Favorite stage to train and fight. This theme is too cold.
This has no reason being as good as it is for a stage theme in a Street Fighter game 🔥
Yes it does, It has to! After all, this is the stage of the main villain of this game.
This 1 theme and it's stage looks more MK'ish than new MK1 trailer. 🙃
Was not expecting this to go as hard as it did

They do I’m pretty sure, if you’re playing online you can set bgm to player or stage
I love the cinematic vibe to this.
Has sf4 vibes, old temple stage, particularly.
I dont play mortal kombat, but this sounds like it would fit well in mortal kombat. I always feel like this is a fight to the death on this stage
This game’s ost is so amazing 😮
Ayyyy, the Costume 2 Trailer Theme! This is so good!
This is THE best background music for training mode, change my mind
(I mean, obviously its dope in battle as well, but I just love training on this stage...)
One of the best sound tracks in this game!
I was waiting for this theme for a VERY long time
Its actually feel like fighting at the final stage of tournament!
Some of the instruments remind me of Sagat's Thai music.
Can tell this really fits akuma’s theme. He’ll be demon raging to these beats
Hated the first round of the final tournament in world tour but loved this theme lol
When you step into the Suval'hal fighting ground to face JP..
But instead it's Scorpion from MK.
This music is good I listened to it while playing the Suval Hal Tournament, I play SF6 is because I like the Avatar Battles and all
SF6 music is so unique
In ViperKreuz we trust!
In viper I kreuz
This theme goes too hard, almost as if it was made for the Ken vs. Luke fight in the prequel comic.
Sounds like a secret boss fight with Akuma!!!
That between rounds part is way too good for something that short.
We honestly need more tribal drums for fighting game OSTs
Those bosses was great for learning to fight what type of fighters to go up against.
Nayshall !!
the bass at 0:47 just tastes different y'know?
this one is sooooo goood
Can u please add Arcade mode credits theme?
0:53
Love this part.
Sounds like the people who made the THX intro were involve in the creation of this stage theme
Yor vs Chun li
Esto suena bien 😁
For the grand final match of the competition
Observe!
Anyone know the ost for when you fight bosch in the tournament
Capcom is definitely taking pages from Tekken's book! I'm always game for bangers ost's!
One of the few OST that I actually like from the game
Barmaley steelworks next!
I'm waiting for that theme TOO my guy
@@deprooespreston3984 Probably the best stage song after fete foraine
Anyone knows the name of the ost playing during the last fight against Bosch?
I might just be high af but this song is like if the hunter x hunter ost and the jojo ost had a baby.
Anyone know the name of the OST that plays during the fights in the Arena Throwdown side mission?
finally somebody who talks about it its peak.. but idk the name
Mortal Kombat x Tekken
This feels like a song from SFV actually dope ❤
4:06
It kind of reminds me of Zelda Twilight Princess ost lol
