I absolutely love the DM blurring balm. I use it as an all over primer under my foundation. I have very textured skin and using the blurring balm under my foundation makes the makeup sit much smoother on my face and doesn’t allow it to “sink into” my skin. If foundation sinks into my skin, it will gather in texture and wrinkles. Honestly the blurring balm just gives me that smoother surface and it lasts all day.
I need to start using it in this same manner! I forgot that the BB is ultra fluid with its role, and curious to see how it looks under my Laura Mercier sample 😍
I have all six shades of the Danessa blushes with my favorites being jubilee And rose and brunch. It’s amazing to me how all of these shades work for my deeper skin. Bellini looks great on you. Golden hour in these formula gives me the same look. Go ahead and get the 2 you want 😂! I’m probably going to pick up a few shades from Haus labs. Also wanted to say that as an oily skinned person living in Texas, that blurring balm balm powder has been a game changer for me. I use the universal shade as a primer and will be restocking during the Sephora sale. Edit: I swatch all six shades in one of my recent videos and apply jubilee if you want too see it in action on deeper skin. Oh and these are super travel friendly 👍🏿

I think the DM and Haus labs blushes look so good that it’s justified to get them all or as many as appeal to you😅

Bellini definitely looks orange-y on me, and I mean that in a good way! I absolutely love it. It brings my face to life! I like orange-y peaches more than brown peaches. The blurring balm is a staple for sure for me!!! Love the look it gives of skin without the dew. I may be in the minority but I’m so over dewy makeup. I prefer a soft matte satin finish. Sephora sale Im diving in on skin care this time around I can’t wait
I tend to gravitate towards soft matte, satin finish myself. I think the consistency yields more of a blurring effect, where you will have to have near perfect skin to get away with dewy products.

I like that it’s lasted more than 8 hours..I appreciate the comparisons of the other brands coral colors, I think Singe was close but not too. I think another good one would be Melt “Sandy Cheeks” or “Cali Dream” would be closer. Loved this video I’m wanting for the sale for everything. I know the PM 2023 new year palette is the same quad but smaller sizes and it seem PM is using those same shadows or maybe PM is redoing all her quads to smaller sizes. I wish so much that tower 28 blushes worked for me. I coveted them for so long. When I finally got one... much too dewy for my oily combination skin. Even with a mattifying primer and setting spray... it just doesn't stay on my face.

Excellent review! Bellini looks beautiful on you. Peach is such a unique shade because it goes into so many different directions. In my opinion the Bellini is more of a true peach where (on my medium deep complexion) Pomelo Peach looks completely coral on me and LYS’s classy is a very pinky coral. So, when I want peach, I reach for Bellini. Forgive me for saying this, but I recommend getting Jubilee, Rose n Brunch, Pomelo Peach, and perhaps one of the soon to be released Armani shades. I ask for forgiveness because I know you are making more informed decisions and not just buying every launch (an incredibly wise stance). I bought them and love them. 😔 By the way, what do you think about Dame PMG’s bronzers? I can’t remember if you bought the blush palettes from her Christmas 2022 release, if you did, you have the blush she is releasing on 3/30. Both palettes are at TJ Maxx for $20 now. The lipstick is also from the Christmas 2022 release.

I am eyeing prima donna from Danessa myricks, because I tend to gravitate towards Rose and branch, and I believe that I have duplicates of that color because it’s the color I tend to gravitate the most so prima donna looks something totally different. Also looking at the house, labs hibiscus haze, either or.
I enjoy these comparisons so much your descriptions of the nuances and properties are always so interesting and illuminating. I was looking out for honey thief! 🍑 i collect blushes too and agree how wonderful it is to get painterly with it. I also enjoy experiencing the different formulas. For the sephora sale if i get anything i’m gonna keep it chill and pick up some combo of a MUFE artist pencil, the DM blurring balm, glossier stretch concealer.. an ilia liquid eyeshadow (tannin) and mayyybe charlotte tilbury mascara in dream pop. Maybe!

I bought three shades so far. Golden hour, primadonna and dancing queen. The other three are in my wish list and I’ll just wait until the sale. I was a little intimidated at first when I used golden hour. I wasn’t expecting so much pigment. I had to really blend so that I didn’t look like a clown 🤡. 😆. But it worked out in the end and left my face with a beautiful flush of color that lasted all day. I think these blushes will be getting a lot of use. I didn’t purchase any of the Hause labs blushes. I just wasn’t that impressed with the swatches I did in store. But I’ll probably give one a try eventually. I am however eagerly awaiting the bronzers from PMG LABS 😊. I think there are new blush shades with that release as well. 😊

😢 I feel like black coffee has been sold out forever. I even set up email alerts on sites that have that function. I am such a liner lover (was goth in teens and 20s) so if you say this is the one... I need it.
I’m finding out depending on the foundation one can be a cool, neutral, or warm…… I’m cool/Rosey in 99% of foundations however I could never find a good match in the NARS formula… low and behold I’m a warm in the NARS formula, by looking at it I did look to be SAHEL but it’s a warm undertone so I didn’t get it just kept getting the wrong shade to finally make the trip to get shade matched and I was correct I’m SAHEL warm undertone, when I was more fair my OG foundation is the GA luminous silk but I’m darker now to actually be golden SAY WHAT no wonder I had to take the time to return THREE NARS and 4 luminous silk shades to find out I’m the opposite in those formulas…. I wish brands would stick to the true undertones. I also noticed brands in the Medium skin tone do not have many if any at all Medium/w/cool Rosey undertones which this is what I am so couldn’t shop a few of the latest drops because I’m sure to be opposite in those as well ERRG
Fenty has a limited edition peach shade called Resting Peach Face and I’m kicking myself for not grabbing it. God only knows why that wasn’t a permanent addition to the line 😞

Yes! The orangey tone is hard to nail, and Bellini is beautiful. There’s still enough peach where the overall color isn’t TOO vibrant.

I’m finding out depending on the foundation one can be a cool, neutral, or warm……
I’m cool/Rosey in 99% of foundations however I could never find a good match in the NARS formula… low and behold I’m a warm in the NARS formula, by looking at it I did look to be SAHEL but it’s a warm undertone so I didn’t get it just kept getting the wrong shade to finally make the trip to get shade matched and I was correct I’m SAHEL warm undertone, when I was more fair my OG foundation is the GA luminous silk but I’m darker now to actually be golden SAY WHAT no wonder I had to take the time to return THREE NARS and 4 luminous silk shades to find out I’m the opposite in those formulas….
I wish brands would stick to the true undertones. I also noticed brands in the Medium skin tone do not have many if any at all Medium/w/cool Rosey undertones which this is what I am so couldn’t shop a few of the latest drops because I’m sure to be opposite in those as well ERRG
Fenty has a limited edition peach shade called Resting Peach Face and I’m kicking myself for not grabbing it. God only knows why that wasn’t a permanent addition to the line 😞
Omg! I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't find it anywhere. I was starting to believe I didn't really see it. They definitely need a peach in their permanent lineup. 😊

@@fancyalexander6560 that’s true, and perhaps the main reason why I’m stalling is because of makeup fatigue. I have a ton of blush that I already don’t use, and to add 5 more makes me a little crazy in the head. I definitely want to pick up Jubilee, but that’s about it. We shall see! It will help to at least wait until the sale.
