eh! Im sorry....but theres STILL something missing with his Lestat. Lestat is COOL but not cold. The sociopathic tendencies, the dry humour and sideways snobbery and nobleman entitlement feels right. Ive READ THE BOOKS btw. But the Je ne sais quoi-thingy just isnt there... Louis was said to be the one with "most humanity" or whatever. But Lestat had his own sort of "humanity" as well. Just NOT in the same "beautiful" way as Louis had. I also think his charm is lacking in this portrayal. NOT in the looks-department but on an interpersonal level. Hes the male manly version of a sinister vampiric honeytrap. That more often ends up with death for the other party. (Im sorry, I dont mean to be a h-word-er, Im just a nerd for imaginary characters, whether its in books, comics or tv/movies, it doesnt matter if its good, bad, inbetween or antiheroes, if Im invested in the character, I dont like when I feel something is lacking)
