I was born in Orange in the early 50s we left in the mid 60s because the town was loosing its country appeal besides everyone knew everyone and gossip was rife. I waged school at Cook Park, saw my fist Elvis movie at the Coronet. My grandmother was born in Dunkeld, we lived in Anson street. My dad worked at Email I fell into the quicksand in the paddock opposite Email taking lunch to my Dad. I was born in the base hospital. Blomfield became a mental hospital. Took part in the Cherry blossom festivals. Watched the car races around Bloomfield from the roof of our garage. Thanks for the lovely memories.
I put together a slide show presentation of my home town Orange N.S.W. with some original traks from my CD's....I decided not to do any edits to the old photos.
Loved the soundtrack that you have added to these wonderful photos of Orange. Thank you.
