Thanks man. Can't compete with a 2J (ok maybe a built RB comes close 😅). Get the SerialNine OEM+ bushing kit. Looks sick and a little harder than OEM without going overboard. They can handle better than they appear, boats 😂
@@GrizzlyGarage interesting, I can still see the polyurethane kit which they call the OEM replacement. That's probably the most ideal, you don't wanna go solid at all 😅
I really can't decide between buying a GS 400 or a GS 300, a 2JZ sounds nice but then again, that 1UZ FE is really nice sounding, yeah I think I'll go with the 400
Man this makes me want to Manual swap my Aristo so bad 🤣, How hard was the R154 swap? Also what facia are you using for your head unit? it looks clean as
The hardest part of probably getting the clutch pedal assembly in place. To make it easier since you're in the states of im not mistaken, look up heat lighting speed shop for the gs300 clutch assembly. Other than that basically need the transmission, a little trim of the gear lever opening in the tunnel and a drive shaft made up to length. Then figure out your handbrake, hydro or retrofit something from like a jzx or a sc300/soarer
Hey sorry for the late reply. I did it myself, took an R154, custom drive shaft, JZX100 clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder. GB had already been converted to concentric slave from a T56 transmission. I'd probably budget 10k of labour and parts if someone were to do it
@@PgamerTBP I bought the calipers from Japan with adapter brackets already but that's about it. Google 350phi and they provide info and brackets to suit
Hmmm, honestly unless you really really like the chassis, it's better to choose the other Toyota sedans to get your 4 door fix. Having said that, if you like the GS, absolutely it's worth it. It's so fun and stupid driving a big car like this.
They drive on the wrong side of the road and in the wrong side of the vehicle to be different. It doesn’t make sense because the majority of humans are right handed
Yeah so it makes sense you dildo, you shift with your left hand so your right hand is controlling the steering. Feels way more natural and that’s someone who has driven both
@@mattbrooks162 I’m just saying the majority of humans are right handed so driving on the right side of the road seems natural, if the majority of people were left handed then driving on the opposite side would make sense.

I need more please got a gs430 this was beautiful nice driving as well mate
That was amazing, fun to watch and love the turbo sound
Thank you!! I broke the transmission a few months ago at a drift day, I have a new one to replace it, so hopefully more turbo noises again soon 😀
Hell yeah dude this is pretty cool, sounds so good. My GS needs all new suspension pretty much to even come close to feeling how this looks😂

Given their whale like size, they're surprisingly nimble in the twisties
You'd be surprised, the IS platform has generally just been a shorter wheelbase GS, so its DNA is rather sporty haha
They really arent that big

I'd love to build a UZ one day, great V8 motors
Did you get it
Where does someone get a steering wheel that beautiful
I know you manual swapped it & all, but I need more info on that infotainment system, looks almost factory lol
I need an LSD for my Aristo swap and a manual is on my wish list. Granis Racing Tremic TR6060
Yes. You can fit the diff from an SC and Supra (small flange) directly into the GS

It’s actually an “Aristo” with the Toyota badge on it.,Good vid but.
Makes me want to have a straight in my GS300.
nice gs man you live in Melbourne?
Thanks man, yea I do! In the East :)
Those hard rights were rubbing
What body mods have been done to your gs300?
Nothing really, rolled front fenders, trimmed the inside lips of the rear fenders. Toms Aristo from bar.
How much power and what width rims?
About 400whp, 18x9.5 wheels
