    I heard that this E-diff (other call it ADB) function by default have only higher specs cars like 123d, 135i. Do you know is this E diff function can be coded in to other bmw models, like e60, e90 and other e87 bmw series models?

    Do you know if you can use this same software to code out the E-Diff on an R56 Mini?

    Can you make a tutorial on how to code to enable the BMW Apps under Connected Drive Menu?
    Thank you in advance

      +GanqueGaming You can add $6NR to your VO to add Apps but without a FSC code from a dealer or vendor it won't work. Your car must have a Combox as well so a late 2011 build or later is necessary.

    What kind of E-diff is it that you are coding? Is it just an open diff and e-diff part that you are reffering is actually ABS/traction control that brakes inside wheel when it detects it's slipping or it's the actual BMW LSD that was installed in the M3/M5/M6 of latter dates of production which splits the torque between the wheels anywhere between 0-100%. I've seen the videos of that E-diff where it has an electric motor mounted on which moves the clutches inside and makes it work in open mode, lsd, or 'welded' diff mode

      This is the open E-diff controlled by the DSC module in the non M cars. I've since programmed in a M3 ABS/DSC unit and gotten rid of all the electronic interference that the non M software has.

    Any way I could contact you sir? I export the file to work folder but then ncs expert can't open it wa ts it to be an ssd file. I dont have the same list as you when selecting the job I get a list of random like 4 letter or number combos. Enter FA button brings it up.

    Hi, Can you make a tutorial on how to code a new adaptive headlight module? Water fried mine and the new one from another car moves the light too much.

    Hi can you explain how the actual diff works when "ediff" is active and not active

    • @lmb335is7
      @lmb335is7  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Quick answer is that sensors measure the speed of each wheel. If they detect a different speed of rotation in the rear wheels the car will apply the rear brake to the wheel(s) that is rotating faster and transfer torque to the other wheel. Read this blog. Excellent info on the various electronic nannies BMW uses and how to defeat them.

    Hi
    So you can remove DEF from coding only ? no mil will be on ?

    • @lmb335is7
      @lmb335is7  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what you're asking. Can you disable the E diff with coding? Yes, along with several other electronic nannies if you want to. Not sure what you mean by "mil".

    Why you code out E-diff?

    • @lmb335is7
      @lmb335is7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a few reasons. Most common would be because you installed a mechanical LSD. I've installed a complete M3 drivetrain on my 335is with M3 shifter running M3 GTS software in my DCT. I've also fitted the M3 DSC/ABS unit into my car which doesn't have any of the electronic intervention in it's software, with a LSD it's not needed. There's a lot of other things in the DSC module that can be coded off, mostly for track purposes. Read this. www.onelapx1.com/blog/how-to-make-your-bmw-actually-fun

      Thanks, good reasons enough :) I have E92 06´ 325i N52. My previously car was FWD with EDS (Electronical Diff - torque vectoring based on braking) and I have not any problem in winter, it goes like 4x4. With this beauty coupe I got sometime stuck. I have mounted Eibach coilovers (-20mm), so I search some solution. Girlfriend´s full stock E46 316i 01´ with M43B19 engine has not any problem during winter. 30cm of snow and drive like a charm.

      @@martinmartin9116 It may be possible to update the software on your DSC module and enable the Ediff. It was only added here in the US in 2008 and it was only a software upgrade. People with early non Ediff software have been able to activate it with the update.

      @@lmb335is7 So your one lap link is down for expired domain.
      I am wondering for my M Factory torsen if I should code the same settings off also? When I have the whole DSC disengaged, all I get is both tires spinning with no intervention lights on the dash of my 335is DCT.
