Thanks ! Happy you like them. I'd be supper excited to listen to some tracks using them. I have to do a little video to show them in the context of a full mix. They waork in a wide array of genre.
very interesting, thank you so much. I purchased some tempest sysex presets from you a couple of years ago. your videos are always exceptional and helpful. keep on going, please.
Thanks for making videos on the Tempest! I would have loved to see you work with e compressor’s settings. (shift+turn the comp.knob) I don't use the compressor on my tempest much because of noise issues. Do you get noise from your device when you turn up the compressor past 40%?
Yes I didn't cover that part as I remember seeing a good video about it. Also it's an enveloppe triggering the compressor from one pad (if I understood how it works) and I remember that this enveloppe would add some artefacts to the sound (from what I heard) I'll look into this more ;)
You'r right ! I have the same feeling on light settings. ssl and tempest comp have similar reaction wich is a good news. it's about using it softly. But it's good to know it's there for this purpose. It does a pretty good job !
👍👍👍
Stoked to see new DSI Tempest videos. Please do more!!!
I love your Kicks!

@ absolutely will share some of my work using them. Also just finished a Lorne sample pack of house beats on the Tempest recently. I’ll DM you on IG

The difference is more obvious on the bass lines
