Why you guys not a fans of Merlin tho? their Merlin Bandit with d30 on boots got me hooked but shockingly unlike yours and I very much appreciate you guys's opinion
So glad to find you covering this side of the show. I was just looking for this exact kind of video! 👩🏽🍳💋 Fantastic stuff. Please learn how to pronounce Shoei. Love you!
Thank you for this update. I have only just started to watch your channel on TH-cam, it seems a very honest and professional appraisal of current clothing. I have contacted you via website regarding summer boots.
Day-to-day I’m a Klim Marrakesh / Zephyr / Maverick (& Scott) subscriber… But - I also own that Dianese suit you showed. Bought on a bit of ‘fashion whim’ a few months ago because it’s a little different - not quite so ‘Rallye’ as other ‘costumes’ let’s say 😉 - It’s really been good actually particularly in the summer - I think because of the size and arrangement of the big openable / mesh panels..(It’s also had an unexpected 2.5hr soaking without issue). Just a bit of feedback I guess..
Klim already has an Induction Pro. I am always surprised with you folks that you glorify the Marrakesh (I own) and almost glorify the Baja S4 (I owned and sold), but never mention the Induction jacket and pants. The best of Klim’s line for ventilation. Marrakesh really only good up to about 90degF here in Arizona, USA. The bulk of the Baja S4 makes it less desirable (was OK when I lived in Wyoming). But my Induction jacket and pants are perfect here. Good up to about 102 degF before I need to wear Alpinestars cooling vest.
Only one helmet has ever left me with tinnitus ringing, and that was Shuberth. And to think I bought it because it was supposed to be the quietest helmet.
@cpuk I totally agree. I have two Schuberth helmets. they both leak. the replacement visors are ridiculous prices. The helmets are comfortable but dangerous since water can splash into your eyes!
Actually, there aren’t lots of new players. Where you see new brands with airbags, most of them are employing the same system from Inner&Motion. The issue with prices is that the demand hasn’t been there sufficient to meet the the brands’ expectations. Dainese, in particular, has huge amounts of inventory, and they are offering ridiculous deals to retailers to take them on. The fact is that there is a proportion of the market that will adopt anything that purports to make riding safer, but by far the majority of bikers does not buy into the hassle and the discomfort of an airbag. CP
Does Klim have a new version or replacement of the badlands pro coming out next year? Been looking at them a lot recently and can't decide to wait and see what comes out of take the plunge now.
There will eventually be a new one, but not for next year. But you should be careful. The Badlands ticks a lot of boxes, but for most people it’s probably not the best option. In fact, for many people the Carlsbad is easier to live with, and gives very little away to the Badlands. You need to be really sure that the Badlands is the right suit for you. Don’t buy it because you think that, at that price, it must sit at the top of the tree. The most expensive is not always be the best; and certainly we have come across a number of people who don’t consider the suit to have been their wisest buy! CP
@@Motolegends Thanks for this as hadn't considered the Carlsbad but now having looked into that I think that could be the winner and save me a few £ along the way. If I was any closer I would of been coming down to look at a few options but unfortunately a bit of a distance away. Just another question, I wear an Dainese smart airbag vest when touring and noticed on your website against the Klim air bag its quotes "But clearly Klim’s jackets are all airbag compatible" just wanting to check if this is also the case with the Carlsbad and means don't need to size up to give it the room to inflate?
Classically, in this context, the word colour would be used to describe a garment in a single tone. Colourway would be used to describe a garment in a mix of colours.CP.
I really love how you guys do your business and that you aren't simply dealers but mc enthusiasts and gear geeks 🙂

Excellent and very informative video, like always. Greetings from the NJ shore USA.

Do you use earplugs or no? Must even if the helmet is quiet. Hopefully someone will make a noise cancelling helmet in the future.

Very informative. I must visit your shop one day.
No update on airbag tech? I am seeing prices dropping and newer players coming in

There’s no stretch in the Carlsbad, but niether is there in the Badlands, so you would need to size up. CP

@Vjekoslav-vf3hr although I have no doubt other brands are top quality probably better too, I like the furygan kit looks class
colourways? what is this crap? what's wrong with colours?

@@Motolegends that's why english has plurals, all you have to do is add an 's'. sounds like american indoctrination to me.
Dainese is rubbish compared to Furygan
