once I had a strange felling when I was sleeping at night around 2am, and I heard strange whispering sound near my ears and I was feeling very uncomfortable and saw 4 long dark ghostly figure starring at me, I was telling myself not to let them control me and pushed them away to the walls saying "just get out of here, I'm stronger than you. Then I woke up from my sleep. ( I could still feel those whispers even now which seemed so real that night, I have no idea if it was real or dream though). It's all in our minds. when we are very much depressed and let the negatives take over you, your subconscious mind will give you signs. you need to wake up and destroy your negative thoughts fighting back.

That messed up feeling that Jaby talks about when entering an eerie environment is caused by our own brain. Since childhood, all of our notions of a paranormal scene or activity has been the same so when the brain encounters a similar environment, it starts to think that something paranormal is going to happen prompting it to even hallucinate ghosts.
If you put someone who is completely unaware of the notion of paranormal will be completely fine in that environment.
In conclusion, the actual is fear is caused by the brain to trigger the 'fight, flight or freeze' reponse in order to protect ourselves from any threat.
No but just why would you have a 'fight,flight or fight response in a quiet room? It always occur in intense situatuions.

Well it might be bcoz it is an inbuilt feature in us to ensure that we survive. I mean look back at history how humans evolved. This feeling developed in first place so that we keep ourselves away from things that endanger us. Be it dark or crowded places or creepy places our brain instantly tells us to move to somewhere safe. Other than that our brain is master at filling up the gaps without even getting the full info. (Can be understood by concept of skip reading or understanding someone even if they don’t finish their sentence) So in a way our brain creates a scenario where we feel unease just to make sure we are safe. That’s the very utility of the concept of ‘fear’ and ‘pain’,just to ensure our survival.

The story jaby was telling about in the end about his friend and her mom, almost same thing happened to me twice, 3 years ago. I personally dont beleive in ghots, so I thought that maybe I am going mad because at that time I was preparing for JEE exams, and I was taking too much pressure. I was very afraid with this idea that I am going mad, but I did not told anyone about it. One year later, when I got admission in NIT allahabad, I get to know that, its something call "Sleep Paralysis". I read about that and I was like ' yes yes, that happened to me'.

In sleep paralysis there's a ghost on your chest which comes after you have slept, they don't stop you from sleeping, they attack while you are sleeping
@@maneeshd3 maybe you experienced that way, but there was no actual ghost. I was studying. It was dec night, about 2 am. I thought I would take rest of 20 mints and then complete my topic. I went under blanket, with my hands resting on my chest and my head outside of the blanket and eyes closed. Suddenly I felt something and opened my eyes. I found out that i was not able to move any part of my body, not a finger except my eyes. I felt like i forgot how to move my body parts, i was not able to speak. I was fully aware that i am not dreaming. I tried a lot to move but couldn't. I thought somehow i got paralysed and no one will know how it happened. Tears started coming from my eyes. Lots of things were going in my head.

@@maneeshd3 not gonna lie i had such dreams like scary and when suddenly wake up you can feel like something actually happened.... and Not a single lie... one day I was having another creepy dream where a beast like man was running before me, but in that dream i take an axe and killed that beastman.... this happened three consecutive nights... and now its been almost 5 years I never get that kind of dream

even my school is built on graveyard...and i can never forget the haunted moments during my adventure camp...we stayed in camps in school and we used to be so scared listening to unusual sounds coming from here and there at night!!
When i was a teen something weird used to happen in my house. At night i used to hear knocking sound on my door. It can't be my family member since they had no access to the door unless they break the wall and go through it and no outsider can do it as a prank since i am talking about my room's door not the main door of my house. It happens for probably two year every night. One day it stopped and never happened again

once i was sleeping, and i had that sleep Paralysis thing. but since i had that often so i was okay, suddenly i realized that someone pull my blanket. i looked at side of my bed, but there was no one. then i closed my eyes. suddenly i felt that someone again pulled my blanket and this time with more force. i again looked at my bed side, but i couldn't find any. then i looked at my feet side. a 3-4 year child was standing there and laughing, and when i saw his face it was horrible. but i couldn't move my body. i tried but in vain. but at that time i had the idea of sleep Paralysis since i had many. so i tried to shut my eyes. i could hear my mom watching tv because she was in other room, but i couldn't screem also. that was the most horrific incident that ever happened to me

Idk if this counts as a paranormal activity but when my Grandma died I was in 10th grade and we had returned back 2 days after her funeral. On the first night, I had a dream that we were taking out all the bags from our car and I was waiting for the lift in my building. My grandma comes in that lift and says bring all the bags, let's go home. Next night I dreamt that I was sleeping beside my dad and I wake up and I see Grandma sleeping beside me and I wake up dad to show him that Grandma is here and before he can look at her my Grandma stabs my father and disappears.
I used to get such weird nightmares when I watch some horror movies, but was shocked to experience this after my Grandma's death😶

As a kid I used to hear foot steps behind me when I used to walk alone at night.. But as I grow old it stops.. But the good thing is i learned to keep attention from things behind me.. So I am like my eyes are looking front and my ears are concentrated at back to guess who or which vehicle is behind me. That saved my from accidents too.

9:35 Jaby it is not just the feeling. Me along with 30 other members of family have encountered a ghost when we were given a guest house to sleep. Every person in the house saw the ghost but I just felt it. I did not see but an invisible force slapped me on the neck while I was in bathroom and dragged me from my bed to bathroom. Next day morning, I was unable to move even a finger, it was like someone weighing hundreds of kg was sitting on me. But after that incident one good thing happened with me, I got cured of my epilepsy. Jaby that day I learnt that God has many reasons to put you through good or bad. Either it be bad or good if you are good, god will cause good out of everything for you.
Why does the bedroom of the mom looks like the basement of conjuring /the place where Annabelle was kept in the movie
My Engineering College, NIT Jalandhar is just 2-3 kilometers away from the School mentioned and our students from our college do go for a round around the school just to get a feel.
I have not felt anything strange there, but many of my batchmates have stories that will give anyone chills 🥶🥶

The second one is pretty easy to guess cuz that girl saw a white figure from the ceiling reaching the ground, it might have been a white bedsheet. And the third incident where the girl said she felt someone's pulling her from the window was just something psychological, she must've felt conjusted in that area, she might be experiencing Claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) or Nyctophobia (fear of darkness),
P.S. I'm not some Scientist or Detective these are just opinions of what could possibly have happened.

He is Mandar Chandwadkar, an Indian actor playing the role of Atmaram Tukaram Bhide in a comedy serial named Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma [Tarak Mehta's Inverted Spectacles] (very popular, originating in 2008 and still going on in 2021...my fav!). One of his personalities is praising the past times and sometimes comparing and criticising the present times with it.....his well known dialogue is "Hamare Zamane Mein....." or ["In our times...."].

I have experienced the knocking mentioned by jaby. However, it is a condition called exploding head syndrome, where people experience unreal noises when they about to sleep or about to get up in he morning. It usually happens when you are under stress or have disturbed sleep routines.
