Thailand is often the first international foreign travel destination of choice for many Indians. It used to be cheap, budget friendly and very welcoming. But sadly things aren’t the same in 2024 like how they used to be in the good old days.
Thailand has become expensive for no apparent reason, the taxes and charges on tourists are unfair and the locals are also rude to tourist especially Indians of late.
I have been to Thailand 3 times (2018, 2023 and 2024) and each time I feel Thailand keeps adding unexpected charges and taxes and passes it on to tourists who come with an intention of having a good time and experience but end up going back with their bank balances lighter by a pretty big amount which in my opinion is kinda scammy.
So I’m this video I will take your thru all the dumb things Thailand does to fool tourist and you can decide for yourself that if you want to spend you hard earned money in 2024 on Thailand or maybe you can visit Vietnam for the same cost.

A: yes, it’s visa free for Indian passport holders for the entire year of 2024
Q: what documents do Indians need to carry for Thailand visa free immigration?
A: Indians need to carry a valid passport, hotel reservations and return or onward ticket and 20000 Baht if possible to show at Thailand immigration.
Uncle goes wherever goes. Uncle's attitude is very bad. Thailand doesn't welcome uncle. But other Indians are welcome.

Welcome! Thailand is not the same as it used to be. There are many options such as Vietnam or Malaysia that are much better in terms of value for money.

This is my personal point of view. You can agree or disagree I have no problems. Over my 3 trips I’ve noticed thai people become more and more greedy and rude with Indians despite us spending so much. The blatant disrespect is appalling and frankly when Indians stop coming a spending money in Thailand then maybe you guys will start respecting our cash and business. Till then Vietnam is much better and people are nicer too.
U can’t judge with few people , So many Indian go there they are also not good behaved with Thai people after to much drunk but it’s not means all Indian do that , Thailand not only Pattaya Bangkok phuket n Karbi there are so many places Indian never go never see.. u have ur personal opinions but u can’t say Thai people not good , in India also people scam to foreigners to much they also not good with foreigners so u can says that o India not good other country people good more then India,, respect all countries every country have good n bad but u cannot blame.. before blaming think ,, and description info also wrong u write….

You are absolutely right, Thais don't like Indians as I faced this as well. When I went to Malaysia I didn't experience this. Though they will like you if you are a good looking Indian which I am not so I was mistreated. It would be good if more Indian vloggers spoke about this. I will now consider visiting Vietnam, thanks for the tip.

@@TravelingBanda They will unfortunately never learn as it is ingrained in them to worship whites. However, I have seen african americans get very well treated well in some youtube vlogs that I watched. The other thing is that some Indians also act rude and misbehave in Thailand which gives all Indians a bad name. Vietnam is a relatively new country for Indians so the Vietnamese are not that familiar with us but I hope in 10 years time it doesn't become another Thailand where they too start treating us badly because of some Indians who spoil it for everyone.

You do know I do this for a living right? I’ve done all kinds of trips I’ve stayed in beach front hotels in Bali and budget hostel is Laos. And i do come from a wealthy family in India. And I’ve never seen a place that rips people off and gives bad service like Thailand does. It’s not about eating street food and living like a pauper it’s about delivering value for money which sadly Thailand no longer does. If it works for you then good for you. I don’t believe in overpaying for anyone and getting lip service in exchange.

The comparison is not with India but how Thailand has decayed in the past 5 years. Thailand gets 17 million tourist a year and India under 10 million. The economy of Thailand depends on tourist not India’s economy. The fact is Thai have become greedy and disrespectful and this will lead other places such as Vietnam take away their businesses.
