I am a former LH flight attendant during the 90's, I am deeply sad and shocked how the in-flight service has been reduced. In the good old days, we served beverages as well as wine, sparkling wine and cocktails after take off before commencing the first hot meal service, not just water and crackers ! Thanks for sharing this video, always have safe flights and many happy landings !
Thank you for your comment ! Unfortunately it's like this nowadays on most major Eruopean airlines. The service in economy Is rediuced to the minimum and the confort as well. At the oposite the quality of business class increase year after year.
@@MillionMilesMarc Is this statement also true for Airlines from other parts of the world? Or just the European ones? And why exactly is it the European airlines that are reducing their economy class service?
@@openwheela I think that it's in Europe where this phenomenon has been the strongest followed by North America. In Asia there Is still a wish to keep a high quality economy product.
Thank you so much for sharing another great flight report! How beautiful is Boston seen from above at night! 🌃🥹🇺🇸 A wonderful skyline to appreciate from the window! I didn't imagine the airport is so close to the downtown! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷 my friend!
@NotYanisYanis for that I need to make an Australian visa it takes time and I'm not in the US also, I would rather fly Qantas Brand New Boeing 787-9 directly from Paris to Perth for exemple
I have noticed that some airlines make it mandatory to dim the cabin lights for night takeoff and landings and some airlines don't 🤔 another great report Marc! 👌🏽
Thank you for this video! I loved it. We flew A380 BOS-LHR on BA in early October. We sat upstairs in economy and it was pretty comfortable. I’m wondering if you have flown the BA A380 and have a preference between the two airlines for this aircraft? Thanks. New follower here.
@@MillionMilesMarc Grew up in the area. Boston is by far one of the easiest cities to walk around for dinner, shows, and sports events. And yes, the skyline is so impressive at night.
I do not expect Chinese meal was served between USA to Germany, it could be normal it the flight flies to China. Overall, they journey seemed pleasant!
I know ultimately Lufthansa want rid of the A380s but they desperately need to update those cabins. Shame, those planes were excellent when introduced but Lufthansa it would appear haven't bothered too much. Easy to be critical but details do matter. A380 still a fine machine but it looks like not kept up with what 2020s requirements are. Not sure how long they are keeping them in service but to me, it would definitely be worth a cabin refresh. I think if Lufthansa are caught up, as many airlines are, with huge backlog of both Airbus and Boeing back orders, they should still invest in keeping their fleet modern. The A380 is still relevant; just look at the load factor on that flight: definitely making wages on that one. Also, food is 'ok' but could be better.
Lufthansa service and catering seems very hit and miss and they are going to be seriously challenged in the coming years due to delayed Aircraft deliveries as their product on their older aircraft is really showing its age. Was that the most ridiculously small serving of fruit ever LOL. Great report as always and safe travels 😊
How sad to see the poor standards that Lufthansa now offer, IFE looked very dated and the food presentation looks extremely poor and as for that breakfast !
I flew muc bkk with the a380 last week and it was a pure disappointment. Inflight entertainment was a complete disaster, the software constantly crashed, the touchscreen responded very slowly, very uncomfortable seats. I wouldn't have expected that from Lufthansa
Hi, can someone ask him why not? More likely, @aryaansrivastava3756 would stop considering Singapore Airlines as his favorite A380 operator by in 2028 unless Singapore Airlines retires A380 before 2028.
Well, as a German, I unfortunately have to admit that this is far less racist or xenophobic than it initially sounds. Especially in comparison with France. Simply compare the food and wine selection of a French supermarket with a German supermarket. Much of what is available in French supermarkets can only be found in a delicatessen in a big city in Germany.
@RollerCoaster-ok7qw I agree, and it's not racist at all, it's just a statement. I am very often in Germany and you have many other advantages and things I admire in your country which we don't have as good in France. That's the beautiful thing of Europe, we are complementary.
germany have the worst food in europe. The chocolate taste like plastic, low quality meat, bread, veggies are tasteless. I was in 21 countries in Europe and the Germany is the worst so far in terms of food. The only good food there is Kebab.

What date did you film and how many hours did you sleep on the plane?
Logan is our home airport. We've rushed through that terminal countless times. But have yet to fly on a 380 or Lufthansa.
I really like that Logan airport is so close to the city center, giving beautiful view over the Skyline at take off
