Incredible series from The King. Unfortunately it wasn't enough, but what he's doing at 32 and after 14 years in the league is legendary. The problem with the Cavs is that they depend entirely on LeBron to win and he's not going to be around forever so they were pressed to give out a lot of money for guys that don't deserve it. I'm not saying they should get rid of JR, Tristan, Shumpert or Frye but those guys are way overpaid for what they bring to the game and how consistently they bring it. As for Love, that is the worst max contract I've seen in a long time. Problem is, some other team would have offered him max money anyway. But he is clearly not worth it at this point.
He has been too injured. Plus to go from a post player to a stretch is hard. Look at Bosh, he was never the same, and he only ways better than Love cause he could defend.
But, also Kyrie and Lebron are 25+ scorers. Love is around 15+. So, he isn’t going to score past 25. So, he basically is just rebound and be a third scoring option. Which is made up of threes.

Nah more like chris broussard if you even know who that is, and what fucking rule changes are you talking about. so the reason why has pop ran a team with players far apart in primes successful for 20 years is because of rule changes not catering to the players strengths? in the late 90s and early 2000s they ran everything out of the post with duncan, they would basically throw it to him and let him try and score or dish to the outside...years later once parker and ginobli got acclimated they started doing a more pass centric offesense with parker driving and slashing. Marc Betancourt you realize no one has very been able to guard KD right? Lebron could have played better defensively for sure, but he was playing 45-46 minutes a game at the age of 32. That's a huge workload even for anyone. This Cavs team won a championship last year so people can't say they aren't a super team just to give Lebron another excuse or whatever the goal is. The Cavs are a great team that made it through the east with only one loss. Not everyone showed up in the finals and that's simply on them, but they still have tremendous players

This series could’ve been a lot closer with the change of two different plays , If Cleveland closes out Game 3 ( as they should have , up 6 and then 3) then we could’ve been looking at a 2-2 series of everything else played out the same , then in game 5 it KD gets called for his 3rd foul with 10 mins left in the second quarter ( as he should have , knocked Lebron in the head on a dunk) we could be looking at a much different series and even NBA season this year. All of the Lebron haters love to say "if" Kyrie didn't make that shot in 2016 and "if" Ray Allen didn't make that shot in 2013. But the fact is, if Kyrie and Love don't get hurt in 2015 and if KD doesn't join the greatest regular season team ever (that he also blew a 3-1 lead to in the WCF the year before), Lebron would have at least 5 rings right now. Stephen A Smith said it best the next morning after KD signed with the Warriors, "this was nothing close to what Lebron did when he went to Miami". Imagine the Showtime Lakers all being in their prime during the 90s (instead of the 80s) and a prime Larry Bird joining them because that is equivalent to KD signing with the Warriors. There's no way MJ's Bulls would have went 6-0 if they had to go up against the prime Showtime Lakers with a prime Larry Bird in the Finals.
