I can't disagree based on the level of horror in the collection. I think "darker" is measured against other themes maybe.
@@TheHonestBookReviewerpotentially, yet it was heavily misleading. Maybe I disliked the book more because of my unrealistic expectations. However, there’s a certain twisted mentality missing, a je ne sais quoi that, in my opinion, was present in The Answer Man
I have to agree with you on your idea the title is misleading. I felt the same way about most of the stories in the collection. But it was a good marketing choice because so many people will read it.
Steve king is too involved with fighting with politics and elon musk, he's not focused and uses chatgpt to help him write now. sad ending to his career
