As someone who has all too much of a chart obsession and who watches Billboard like a hawk, it's just ignorant for someone to say that BTS isn't as popular or relevant, and that they can't reach high goals. You don't even have to like BTS to be able to recognize that they're doing something right.

BTS might be the only Korean group that I'm really into but I do listen to songs from other Korean artists too and if I would find another group I like I do not know why that would be a problem. I mean I listen to many different metal bands, many singer/songwriters etc etc and I have always in my whole life listened to multiple artists and only added on to that through the years when I find more music I like. Many different groups and genras, alot of rock, metal but all sorts of music. For me just liking and listening to one artist would be like only eating one dish for th rest of my life. I listen to all kinds of music from the early 1900's and up too 2020's, living and dead artists music, young and old. If it moves me I will listen to it. And sometimes I need metal, sometime soft acustic music, sometimes something upbeat. Why should I limit myself?

There is one thing you should know......a k pop album, they make the an experience. It's not just a CD that u ate getting. You will get in any given k pop album; a poster, and depending on how many members in the group, a booklet. Not to mention stickers, and in BTS case; a diary (for the storyline). And most importantly to all fans, not just ARMY, Their photocards, basically photos of each member by themselves. So a lot of fans want their bias. And depending on which album you will get at least one photocard of a random member. Some groups sends more than one. Now keep in mind some ARMY, really want that photo cards. And I have seen a lot of ARMY buy a lot of one album. I've seen a couple buy like 100 or so albums...just for the photo cards. And lastly, and in BTS's case, there is always more then one version, like their album 7, there were four different versions...with 4 different photos, posters, and covers. So ARMY will buy every version of the album. Now these albums don't go for the normal $11 or $12. These albums go for up to $50. But I have found all mine for under $30...and usually at Target...a lot of groups have contracts with Target, so u can find a lot of k pop groups there...you should check it out....u might find some albums you been wanting. Good luck!

An actual physical album, yes, frikking expensive, and sometimes hard to get, but totally worth it if you can do it… I think he was talking about buying a digital copy of the album from Apple/Spotify - if you have a streaming package, you can stream whatever music you want without paying for actual tracks or albums, but you can also purchase it, digitally, and even if you drop or change your streaming service, you still keep that song or album on your phone or laptop, whereas if it is just streamed, you will no longer have access to it. 🙏💜

Yeah, I know for me at least that I mainly support BTS the most and I only have albums from BTS. But I will also listen and support other groups like Enhypen, TXT, Blackpink, Stray kids, Seventeen, and even some disbanded groups too. I mean if the song is good I support the artist.

I think he was talking about buying a digital copy of the album from Apple/Spotify - if you have a streaming package, you can stream whatever music you want without paying for actual tracks or albums, but you can also purchase it, digitally, and even if you drop or change your streaming service, you still keep that song or album on your phone or laptop, whereas if it is just streamed, you will no longer have access to it. 🙏💜
