I like this set but I would've LOVED the set if they included an High Evolutionary minifigure in this. Especially since he is the creator of Rocket it seems like.
We're missing so many characters across all the sets. No high evolutionary, no kraglin, no cosmo and most importantly no lyla. Lyla is a super important character to rocket and should have definitely been in this set.
Now that I finally know the context for this set, they REALLY should've added the High Evolutionary, Hell, they could've added Rocket's friends, too. But that would've been more expensive.

Nope! My Samus minifig has been needing a gunship for some time, and even the base model of this set will satisfy that itch. There’s even room for a potential Baby Metroid thanks to that space for Baby Rocket!

There was such a thing on Lego Ideas a year or so ago, it got backed but wasn’t chosen, I so wish we could have gotten it because it was so versatile, able to be built into so many different versions of her ship. Regarding my custom, I put it together myself, looking online at others’ attempts and mixing parts from other minifigs I had to get the details and colors I wanted. As for the particular parts I used, should you wish to recreate: -Red motorcycle helmet with lime green visor (though any red spacey helmet with a green visor would also do) -Quorra’s head from the Tron set, though any flesh-tone female serious face will do -Sith Jet Trooper torso, arms and hands replaced for bright light orange ones -Bright light orange shoulder armor with ridges, found in the latest Iron Man Armory set -Bright light orange hips (found mine in a 4+ fire helicopter set) -NED-B’s legs from the Obi-Wan vs Darth Vader set -Hand Armor 6168708 for her arm cannon, it’s been showing up in the Wakanda Forever sets as Shuri’s weapons. The complete minifig looks more like her base Power Suit than her Varia Suit, but other attempts I had didn’t look right one way or another.
Man. Review after review. Site after site. The value and enjoyment is really slipping hard on this year's sets! I am struggling to find excitement with anything Lego since the price jumps. We are blatantly getting less, and I haven't spent anything close to what I did at this point last year. I hope Lego really feels it this year. They are screwing up.
This set reminds me of the Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter Microfighter set, both because of its small size and also because Baby Rocket in the back calls Grogu to mind.
I wish they have a new piece for baby rocket. It would be better if they release instead of a ship, release a location set of High Evolutionary lab with Rocket and High Evolutionary minifigures,
5 out of 10 feels fair as the build isn't really all that interesting or complete. It is lengthier though than the box suggests reminding me of a stripped down variant of Spinner from Blade Runner. Baby racoon is a great selling point though, and like the printed controls inside the ship. Other than that I feel the new Guardians ship is both a much more unique design, and better value for what you pay.
this set is a let down it could have been used for something better like a cool set of higher evalotinary and we need gamora and kraglen. Man what a wasted opraunity also really bad spelling because why not.
They could've at least thrown in the High Evolutionary (the main villain for GOTG 3) in this set

I feel this one is my favorite of the 3 sets. The orange and unique shaping feels cool to me and is probably the one I would be most likely to get

After watching this, I’m shocked Lego would make a set based off of such a dark scene. Makes it even cooler :)
