This song reminds me of a happy time when my Dad got out of hospital. That week we went to a beach in the Highlands of Scotland, and wanting to be alone for a while, I went off and sat by myself amongst the sand dunes and listened to this track on my old ipod, resting in the sunshine with my bare feet swishing over the soft white sand which a gentle little breeze was blowing into waves across the surface. I felt the pain of knowing that he was sick but the relief I got to spend more time with him, and a great sense of relaxation knowing that he was nearby sitting on the other side of the dune. RIP Dad
Brilliant. That love for our Dad is eternal. RDJ's capacity to sonically prompt the memory, thought, feeling, emotion... Thank God we can access those places throught the artist's that guide us there - lovingly.
For me it’s the cycle of memories of my life. Everything, regrets and happiness, I get to see it all. Like a movie scene before the person dies. It’s like the song forces the thoughts I want to hide from, forces the feelings I avoid feeling, but it holds my hand throughout it as I walk through them.

My great uncle died and driving to the funeral today I thought I should listen to something to give me time to think. I looked up stone in focus in my soundcloud likes and listened to it twice on the 30min drive. It really helped me to process and reflect. Thanks for releasing it to the world so others can have comforting sounds to uncomfortable situations.
this somehow reminds me that just over the horizon is our entire past and our entire future. just over there slightly out of view, every loved one passed, every memory, every thought no matter how insignificant, every emotion, every failure, every success, every imaginary place in a dream, it's all there and always will be. and we were there too... just yesterday. all that is there was born here. where everything happens, one moment at a time.
I wonder how many lives this one track has saved. Literally. How many people got through a rough one by just saying to themselves, I’m going to go home and listen to Stone In Focus on repeat until it passes.
