Been watching for a year now. I have built a short cinder block wall with a footer all for a patio out front. I am excited about more concrete projects at my house. Thank you for the very interesting and educational content.
Great
Good luck
that music you had going near the end was fire

No rain here in AZ.

25:43 that steel mesh is 10 times better that your regular 3/8 rebar …. That will not crack 100%!
I hope so
Sweet 👍

Very nice

Didn't you have a bigger bucket for your Vermeer?
Yes, but it has teeth
Glad to see ya still gettin some work in AZ. So what is the native soil out there? Just clay or what? 🤔
Sand, silt, rock and clay
So you lowered your square foot pricing since it’s done in Arizona?
That's funny, but everything cost more here except housing and gas
@@OdellCompleteConcrete really?? So pouring concrete is a luxury over there huh
Great video!❤
You are so kind
Looks like u need to get a full size bobcat
How do you know the concrete is level ? Do you use a level or a laser level ?
Yes a laser level
I’m a big fan from El Paso, TX. Thank you for all the learnings I have gained from watching your videos over the years! I have a general question: How long do you typically wait to remove the forms in order to finish the face on a curb or stair? Thanks for any insights you can provide!
As soon as it's able to stand by itself

David, just out of curiosity but why didn’t you use rebar?
Gets real hot here.
The bid steel may swell and break the concrete.
I wish my boss had a veermer shoveling and wheelbarrow sucks on a hot day here in Phoenix
I hear that
Awesome man! Was thinking that dirty gravel can go to the cement maker guys place for 60/40 or whatever there where they can use. Way more limited resources in the desert. I still want a little homestead to farm some that climate tolerant trees someday. I'm just allergic to something south of Socorro NM and Phoenix somewhere along there and south seems or "They Live" don't like me on the RADAR down there. Oddly, the last time I was down the weather was cooler and I didn't notice anything until about a week down. Angioedema and my lips start swelling like eating histaminic or other foods I'm allergic-sensitive to.
Sounds like rough situation
Did you move to Arizona Odell?
50%
"Boat has a jet motor", lol, your funny dude. You're obviously not a boat guy. What do you think that house would sell for in that area?
250,000
@@OdellCompleteConcrete cool.

Breathing a little heavy ?-Plz don't have a heart attack
That's what's it like doing physical labor
Why u using that cheap chicken wire?
It's not chicken wire.
This is 10 gauge 6" centers
Son working for big brother? Lol
Bingo
Hello! Can you help me, give me some advice or a video, how to waterproof a garage that is about 20 centimeters (about 9 inches) in the ground? I want to turn that garage into an apartment for rent? I am located in Serbia in Europe.
Try plastic
@@OdellCompleteConcrete What you mean, i dont understand?
You miss your boys? 😥
Yes

Great video. Why the roll of steel instead of the rebar you usually use? Huge fan
Weather conditions
This probably sounds like a terrible idea (especially where you are with shallow drains and water lines), but we usually run the quick cut (cut off saw) full pin to cut our excavation line with an old blade. Saves having to dig everything up and cut fabric by hand.
I'll try that next time, but sounds like the fabric is going to get wrapped around the blade and cause a problem
Fabric is always the pain. No good way to cut it.
