The slapping mechanic seems really fun with a lot of potential. Make walls you can slap through with your grubby arms that can be repaired by chucking money at it or perhaps even give them weapons to attack the big player with or the ability to temporarily disable turrets by slapping them
gloves. Like those foam fingers or something. It would shoot and it would disable/de-evolve towers. A fun balance change. But the gloves come from the head thing, and cost a lot.
a suggestion: make so that a shadow is casted where the Big Player mouse is pointing. that way the mini players can know where hes going to place his towers (maybe adapt that feature to an item?)
I think you should add a new tower (Ballista) 1. Ballista - deals no damage when up close and deals a lot of damage when far away . It shoots 1 arrow that will go through any shield but it would take a long time to reload. Pls don't make the arrow too slow cuz i could just dodge them and you can just work on the upgrades I'm sure you can make 2 upgrades based on the tower. Hope u release the game soon! :)

Hammering the fists might be easy (or hard-- I suck at code as well) Potential solution: as long as he doesn't do the weird pose after doing this, anchor the feet, legs, and hips. Everything should come from the back, arms, and upper body movements hopefully. By anchoring him, you should be able to freely move the upper body to move him. As for reaching without stretching, and making him dynamic on the track, there should be a way to make set "paths" that he slides along. The players can't see the legs, so making him walk won't be needed.... but you basically slide him slowly along when the "slam" choice is selected, slipping along a set path to position to hit. Basically have the game show a range bubble around him, and those are the areas he can reach built into the slam animation. Slide him along the track while selected, animate him sliding, and when he is in range you confirm the location to slam. Hopefully my tired brain got through those thoughts... I need coffee. Keep up the good fight of working on this!
You should add a feature to where when you’re a little guy you can buy items and damage the traps set by the big guy, thus making them less useful, also the upgraded traps would have a higher resistance to the items
make a possessed topple spanner tower that try's to push the player of. pleasssssssssssssssssssssssssss I don't think this would get loved but it would be cool.
I really like the game concept, but look into changing the character models from boring old colours. A lot of games fall into the trap of having colored "bean" characters, like fall guys or gang beasts, etc. And I think the player models for those games are cute, don't get me wrong, but the enough games have it to the point it's boring and not unique anymore. If you want this game to really stand-out, I recommend coming up with a more creative character design that isn't so generic.
i'm a old dev using just win32 no sdk and skinning for the first time, no models just procedural mesh. there's a lot of obvious good things about self sourcing, but i wanted to let you know, i just spent three days trying to fix a two statement rotation that just started working all of a sudden as well, so i still go through that too ;)
you should add a flamethrower it does progressive kb it dose very little but every 5 sec (you can change that if you want) it will kb a little bit that could make really good strategy or a rocket launcher its like the cannon but its one use and it is very inaccurate but instantly kb in the water/lava/acid/whatever else there my memory is ass also one more thing i would like it if you make a Easter egg for your balloons game these idea are pretty bad i know but its what i thought could make it more fun for the mega player.
Main Menu suggestion: the typical perspective of a small player lookin up at the giant player. when you open something like options, the giant pulls the options up from the ocean or something. when you press play or quit: the head and eyes fromt he giant jerk from lookin down at the general direction of the island, to looking directly at the player/camera, and then he either picks the player up and flings him away(quit game) or bends over and swallows him(play/matchstart). and when the game starts, the giant vomits all the players onto the small island, so you even have an immersive start :D
About the waiting for the next round: You can consider an extra challenge for every dead player. Based on how well they performed, they will get better boosters at the beginning of the new round. This challenges between rounds could be little races or parkour challenges, for example

Small idea after you fix your stuff: Players should be able to get weapons in the match! Ideas for weapons: A staff that allows you to make fake players that run to the end A sword/hammer that lets you destroy 1 or 2 path obstacles
Idea: maybe an upgrade path for the minion players that can try to build short cuts place somesort of bridge or etc. Can nerf it by making there be limited number of placemnts or that ots desteuctable if the minions accidentally bait the towers into shooting it
I know this might be hard to make, but I think in the beginning fight the last player standing should have a cut scene where their body starts to grow, and they fall off of the island. you see all the other wobbly guys looking at what’s going on when suddenly the giant mega player emerges from the ocean, Godzilla style. And maybe the mega player could deflate like a balloon, if he loses. you don’t have to add these, but I think it would be cool.
this probably wont be added or seen by you but i think it would be pretty cool if the big guy could spawn in npcs that go across the track but spawn at the end and slap the players

What if : for every little guy that goes to the end of the game, the big guy get money for upgrades, and the little guy get a point. The little guys have a shared total of lives and when it's over the game is over the player with the most points wins, the number of death is added to the screen to the how well the big guy performed, and a new big guy is chosen. Game becomes progressively more difficult, duration of a game can be adjusted by the players by choosing how many lives they get in the common lives pool, and it's important for players to go fast : If they are slow and the other ones are fast, they'll give money to the big guy and the game will become harder so they'll get less points. It introduces a race between the players, and the better they are the faster the big guy can upgrade.
i think that you should make one of the hats a potato hat. maybe when wearing it you could press a button to eat the potato and turn invincible and super fast for a few seconds.
man i always want to make a game myself but just don't have the right pc for it right now. i hope it goes great tho! also this might seem like a stupid idea, but what if there were towers that are like only able to be places for that specific map and every kind of map has something different. or how about different variations of the maps for example: the same theme but there is 2 islands that the player can spawn on (if that is difficult maybe like having 2 paths that lead to the same goal) maybe also add some stupid sounds for the characters like totally accurate battle simulator has could also have some towers that are like blurring the vision or like making the floor slippery? i do understand that you don't want to do that since most of the towers you said were more based on knockback. it would be funny if you could just throw something at the giant just to piss the player off for no reason. i am going a bit far with these ideas i will stop now but i hope everything goes well, cannot wait to try it!
If there's one thing I'd have to add to your backlog, is to add controller support, since I use a laptop on a bed it's more convenient for me to connect a controller to play PC games, even for simple ones, hopefully the controls are comparable with a controller
This is copy pasted from the last video with slight changes. 1: Add a fourth branch, weaponry. Weaponry serves as a way to counter the mega player, and to use them, you have to enter some sort of first person mode, allowing you to shoot a tower of choice. The first item is a slingshot which stuns towers for 0.5 seconds. The second is the water gun, which reloads slightly faster and stuns for 1 second. The first of the two final options is the musket. It reloads incredibly slow but completely destroys towers. The mega player can spend points to fix it, and upgrades to the tower will be kept. (For example, if a golden cannon gets shot by the musket, instead of reverting back to a normal cannon upon being rebuilt, it stays golden. The other option is the drone, which flies close to the mini player, and fires extremely quick, but towers will recover in 0.3 seconds, and you also lose the ability to aim with the drone, instead the drone shoots the tower closest to the player. 2. (This part is outdated with the new maps but the map ideas are nice.) New maps. I like the first map, but you didn't show much of the second, with annoys me. Pet peeves aside, I think that you should add at least 2 more maps. I also think each map should have assigned difficulty. The grasslands one looks like it could be easy, The volcano one could be medium or hard, and the new ones, there will be a medium/hard one, and an impossible one. The medium/hard level takes place on a mountain where the mini players start up top and the end is near the base. The height difference gives the minis an advantage, as they can snipe towers from afar. Because of this, weaponry items are at a slightly higher price, maybe a 20% increase. The impossible map takes place in a maze-like space station with several branching paths. Gravity is lowered here, so knock back is reduced, and black holes are stronger, because of the environment. But as not to give mega an advantage, he has a new problem in this level. The mega player is stationed outside the station. He is in a very leaky space ship. But this means he has limited oxygen. The mega player can press a button in order to refill, but you can't place or upgrade towers while refilling. I'll let you figure out the layouts of these maps.

You know how when in mario 64 when he touches lava he flys into the air? Maybe that could be a hot coal tower you can place on the track or something to launch mini players into the air.
