Good tutorial.. impressive job! Kindly I have a question regarding calculation of volume of one brick, when calculating we should add the thickness of the mortar.
I think you have to deduct the width of the brick, .09m from .15m. which is .06m, then add it on interior width and length of rooms. through this you will still arrive at 3.5m and 4m as interior wall after installing the bricks.
Thanks a lot for such a useful video. How Do you select which wall is long and which one is short ? is it random? We hope that you keep on sharing different informative videos about Civil Engineering.
1 cubic metre of brickwork needs 500 bricks..... including mortar.... that comes approximately 12515 for 25.03 cubic metre.... so itz btr to include mortar deduction alsa
Assalam-o-Alaikum! First of all your effort to make such type of videos are appreciated, but Samiullah as below some guys mentioned wet mortar volume and lintel volume should be deduct from total volume of bricks, and request to you please make another video in inches and feet including above deduction. Thanks
sir ratio of mortar bonding is 10% which use to estimate such as 100cum volume of brick work in this volume of work 10cum deduction of mortar AND 5%DEDUCTION OF WASTAGE
in the length of long wall u need to take a centre line lenth=3.5+3.5+0.30+0.15+0.15 but u r taking total length.in the short wall u r taking a centre line length but what about the long wall can u plz explain me?
please consider mortar and calculate bricks...... and another question please put video, how to choose dia of bar in column and beam??? and also footing
sir in total volume of wall also volume of mortar includes so no. of bricks decrease karega na sir to hame mortar ke lie bhi calculations karna padefa sir???
First of all thanks alot to you for your great effort really it was useful. Could you please make vedio for us about dome foundation and quantity of concrete and cement for this dome . Please help me .
bhai A.O.A and my 1st question is that you have not calculated nor added the Nos of bricks used in sub structure and my 2nd Q is that in super structure why you didn't used mortar for masonary? it made me confused
PLease Reply I am Hameed and I work in Dubai as a designer soi am planning to make own home 4 rooms 4x4 meter and the roof will be a break so can you help me in short how much money will consume each room 4x4m mean one full room actually the room two down and two up two-story building. of 4 rooms how much its will cost me to build it. Please Help to remove my Doubts. Thank you in Advance.
sir , how to deduct mortar quantity in the wall.....could you please explian me how to caliculate how many number of bricks required after deducting mortar quantity..you have explained how caliculate how any how many number of bricks required with out mortar .. with out out mortar the wall cant construct... so, could you please explain how to deduct mortar quantity
Dear Sir, if we are having glass work in front elevation so we will use the deduction of size during calculation? What is the advisble option to avoid brick misscalculation wherein glass work is under plan on elevation but not final.
sir may be miss-understand cze we built 4 rooms, 2 bathroom and 1 kitchen. 3,000 bricks, what is wrong sir, and you said 2 rooms you can built 16,263 bricks
Brother, your bricks and his bricks are not the same. Keep in mind hes in India, they usually use red bricks of their standard. I think you are using concrete blocks which are bigger in size hence need smaller numbers. I would simply say 1 concrete block equals 5 red bricks, giving us about 15000 red bricks Plus mortar thickness of 10% of total which is 15000 bricks+1500 for mortar is about 16500 red bricks. U in east Africa?
I have a question about brick volume.. In this vedio u show the volume of one brick = 0.001539cum And in the previous vedio u show the volume of one brick = 0.070 cum Why they are different.. Plez ans
What should I say about this?? Where is mortar thickness? 10 to 15mm morter is required to fix a brick of all side. First of all take any one wall's length then divide it by the brick length. You will get the nos of brick. Then add 10mm with the nos of brick. Like if you got 20 nos of brick then add 10×21. (Cause you have to provide morter at both side of the brick from wall starting to ending) Now you will get the morter length. Then total the both length morter & total bricks. Now see. The total length is greater than the actual wall length. So you have to deduct some brick. Its around half to a full brick generally. Now you will get the actual nos of brick of one line of any wall. Same thing will apply on the height of the wall. After applying that you will get the total no of line of the brick. Of any wall. For housing purpose use this trick. But it may vary on the pattern of the wall. Like dutch bond. Flemish bond. Zigzag bond etc. But whatever the pattern is. Don't worry just think about it deeply. You will get the result for sure. Always remember everyone learn everything after birth. No one born as a genius. Thank you
Good one I got clarity on the usage, this will help to whom want to construction
Super working on this class dear brother
Welcome Bro
Your job is 👌I know nothing about it I am just watching
Good tutorial.. impressive job! Kindly I have a question regarding calculation of volume of one brick, when calculating we should add the thickness of the mortar.
What about mortar thickness?
You are very good teacher
I am very happy with
With you
sir,
i think total volume of wall divide by volume of brick with mortar ?
thank you sir for this usefull vedio.
Mortar is also there in between bricks. So deduction of mortar occupy is essential
very use full &superb
very good explanation concepts sir, keep the good work
Remember volume of wall including mortar and bricks.and why do you negliget mortar
I think you have to deduct the width of the brick, .09m from .15m. which is .06m, then add it on interior width and length of rooms. through this you will still arrive at 3.5m and 4m as interior wall after installing the bricks.
wall contains 12515 bricks and 5.769415 m3 amount of mortar
Thanks a lot for such a useful video. How Do you select which wall is long and which one is short ? is it random?

Please edit ur video link in description. Its not working. I have a question..How much tons stone will be in a truck? & Good job. Thank u.
Well explained thank you
Thanks sir ,that was very useful for me !
thank you so much and be blessed
thickness sir very nice best teacher
your the best
1 cubic metre of brickwork needs 500 bricks.....
including mortar....
that comes approximately 12515 for 25.03 cubic metre....
so itz btr to include mortar deduction alsa
Without mortar 500 & with mortar 480 bricks
25.03. × 480 =12014
No with mortar 500
did you also include the foundation bricks?
in this case first he sum all the value then multiply....i think the best answer is 3.5+3.5+0.30+.15+.15=7.6m is a answer....
Right
very good video for begineers
Assalam-o-Alaikum! First of all your effort to make such type of videos are appreciated, but Samiullah as below some guys mentioned wet mortar volume and lintel volume should be deduct from total volume of bricks, and request to you please make another video in inches and feet including above deduction. Thanks
Sir ji no deduction has made for middle wall
mashaAllaah thank you so much samiullah
What about mortar thickness factor sir
this is Without Mortar Quantity
Aasifkhan Khan 6me...
mortar thickness is generally 10mm.
Aasifkhan Khan we take 15 to 20% of volume to mortar wastage.
Please do some tutorials on taking off building works from foundation to roof work
Hello Sami, If you use the Pocket Estimator app it will also calculate the mortar how how much sand, cement you need for the mortar.
Bro I can find with diff applications
Very interesting topic but sir wat about the void in between the block are they deducted and how or not
Good lesson
Very helpful video sir
Video for design precast building using modular coordination principles .
sir quantity of bricks will changes for different type of bonding, then how can we use this standard formula
sairam bskv are the mortar thickness to the dimensions ..... say the 190mm brick length with a 10mm bonding will become 200mm
sir ratio of mortar bonding is 10%
which use to estimate such as 100cum volume of brick work in this volume of work 10cum deduction of mortar AND 5%DEDUCTION OF WASTAGE
Nice video very helpful
in the length of long wall u need to take a centre line lenth=3.5+3.5+0.30+0.15+0.15 but u r taking total length.in the short wall u r taking a centre line length but what about the long wall can u plz explain me?
yes he should do at last 0.15*2. all wrong calculations
Exactly
please consider mortar and calculate bricks......
and another question please put video, how to choose dia of bar in column and beam??? and also footing
Sir
Volum of brick taken with motar or without motar
He took without mortar should add mortar volume too bro
For calculation qty of bricks brick taken with mortar dimensions.
Have you plz make a vadio on construction of road step wise. ? And also finding quantity of different materials used in road construction.
this useful video really
Thank you bro
I think u r wrong to calculate long wall distance=(3.5×2+0.30+0.15×2) centre to centre
in this case first he sum all the value then multiply....i think the best answer is 3.5+3.5+0.30+.15+.15=7.6m is a answer....
@@khayyamabbasi8376 He calculate both side so 7.6 x 2 = 15.2m
Yeah, but he got 15.2 m which is OK
Thank u very much
sir in total volume of wall also volume of mortar includes so no. of bricks decrease karega na sir
to hame mortar ke lie bhi calculations karna padefa sir???
Good but you skip quantity of bricks in the substructure or is their no bricks in the substructure? Good
In brickwalk construction we use motar as binding property for brick so we leave gaps for motar then u calculated without gaps ????
Good video
Please upload a video in feet dimensions

Super bro but remove column quantity or not
Bhai briks ke liye masala Bhi to lagega wo us ki Bhi to kuch thickness hogi ...??
nyc one
First of all thanks alot to you for your great effort really it was useful.
Could you please make vedio for us about dome foundation and quantity of concrete and cement for this dome .
Please help me .
Yes insha ALLAH i will
see my vadio anzik .
Site pe mortar use krke no of brick nikalte. hy.. Mortar thickness is 10-12mm.. Aap ko mortar use Krna chahiy tha
Use full vedio.....
bhai A.O.A and my 1st question is that you have not calculated nor added the Nos of bricks used in sub structure and my 2nd Q is that in super structure why you didn't used mortar for masonary? it made me confused
Make a video about how much it costs to build a bridge
10 mm should be add in volume of bricks for motar. then we will find exact nos of bricks
Where we should add in each side length ,breath and height or one side
Excellent
can u pls make a video how to make cost breakdown and quantity together for one building pls sir i need examples
Thank so much about what u R doing. I think a little mistake on LT wall so you can check if I wrong. Thank u
The first operation is not correct I think. May be wrong calculation. Me I see LT wall= 27.8m
Thank you souch
Love you from 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
You have to deduct the mortar quantity before calculating the number of bricks.
I like the lesson
Good job, but how about the Lintels and the thickness of the Binder if to be included?
thank u sir
Lekin sir ap ny mortar ki deduction nae ki . Walls ma masala b to use kia gya ha ..!
Its for side wall and? And what is the method for floor?
It is 9 inch wall or 4 inch wall..?
hello sir ,, plz load video same topic but in feet and inches
Is it without mortar thickness????
Thanks
sir , how to deduct mortar quantity in the wall.....could you please explian me how to caliculate how many number of bricks required after deducting mortar quantity..you have explained how caliculate how any how many number of bricks required with out mortar .. with out out mortar the wall cant construct... so, could you please explain how to deduct mortar quantity
Thnkq xo much sir
Can u make video related to modular coordination and quantity of modules required for the precast concrete components...
without mortar qty. is that right answer of no. of brick?
maybe if added mortar brick qty. will be reduce?
Of course right.
thnx sir ji
sir what are the quantity of cement and sand that in this video .
can you tell us in next video quantity of cement and sand?
You can get your answer in my video.
You forgot the mortor ...... but apart from that perfect !
You didn't include the substructure quantities .
Anyway thanks for your videos
Make a video on rat/mat footing in detail
Sir ji Canal Fall, canal syphon, drainage syphon ect Video

Dear Sir, if we are having glass work in front elevation so we will use the deduction of size during calculation?
What is the advisble option to avoid brick misscalculation wherein glass work is under plan on elevation but not final.
is that possible 1 feet wall thickness, as shown in your video
sir may be miss-understand cze we built 4 rooms, 2 bathroom and 1 kitchen. 3,000 bricks, what is wrong sir, and you said 2 rooms you can built 16,263 bricks

Sir this is not including of mortar.?
amazing
I am no expert, but I think that is too many bricks. My rough guess is that you will need no more than 3000 bricks
I have a question about brick volume..
In this vedio u show the volume of one brick = 0.001539cum
And in the previous vedio u show the volume of one brick = 0.070 cum
Why they are different..
Plez ans
good sir
Sir please define the vertical curv and horizontal curv.
Sir morter thickness nahi nikale morter ki thickness mines krna hoga
where plaster & mortar volume?
You can get your answer in my video
Thanks.
Why do we need to multiply the length of the wall by 2 when both sides of the lenght of the wall is already added up..... And what about the mortar
How much bricks to build bed room and palor
What should I say about this??
Where is mortar thickness?
10 to 15mm morter is required to fix a brick of all side.
First of all take any one wall's length then divide it by the brick length. You will get the nos of brick.
Then add 10mm with the nos of brick.
Like if you got 20 nos of brick then add 10×21. (Cause you have to provide morter at both side of the brick from wall starting to ending)
Now you will get the morter length.
Thank you
pka dia yar
Sir volume of mortar is not considered I think.
Not practically....What about deductions for beam, lintel, sill and column 🤣🤣
Yes u r saying right
Not even that, the quote he made is from the dpc to the wall plate only, he never accounted for brick work above the beam
