    I grabbed one of these last week from the local shop in black pepper laminate with a lower serial than RnL's, absolutely brilliant air rifle, shoulders very comfortably, great accuracy. Worth every penny imo. Pellet wise, I'm using Air Arms Diablo Field and it loves them.

    Nice review Rack, must admit I’ve been on the fence with this one but your review has inspired me. I’ve had many BSA pcp rifles over the years and currently own a Scorpion SE. Like many others that have been around the houses umpteen times with all the major manufactures anything new always tends to perk our interest levels. Sadly in the current saturated market there’s so much choice and any rehashed offerings usually spark negative opinions everywhere what I can’t stand though is all those so called shooting forum members who have slated a product without actually ever seeing the product in real life let alone shouldering or owning it. I’ve read quite a fair bit of negative stuff about the Defiant over the last few months and I guarantee probably 99% of them haven’t got a clue what they are going on about. it’s refreshing to see your honest opinion on it, it’s certainly one on my radar that’s for sure so once again thanks for taking the time to review this new BSA....Nick

      Hi Nick, yep, totally agree with you. Myself, I try not to make an opinion until I have the item in my hands! I think the BSA is great but it's a heavy weight rifle with a heavy weight price tag. Atb, Rack.

    Thinking between this Bsa Defiant or Remingtons Airacobra both pcp, bullpups (semi) styled but like the sound of the wooden coated stock, maybe saving pennies for both Rem. Airacobra you need to review i think you could be surprised , but love BSA Barrels, great video nice .

    You can double load the gun, and once in a blue moon a pellet gets jammed , somehow in the mag and breach , and you gently have to wiggle the mag with gentle pulling and wiggle on the bolt , 3 times in 6 months it happened to me , and a friends gun that was only 4 months old did it , twice in one day ,, I’ll stick to my Krals , cheers Shane

    I know you would have your favourites and the key points to be mentioned are the following:
    Power
    Sound level
    Trigger pull weight
    Barrel length
    Weighing with scope or without
    Accuracy of course
    I was very disappointed that you forgot to cover the areas we as regular air rifle enthusiasts always look forward to! Please cover them next time . . .

    I had a hold of one at Solware, if felt lovely, and for a second I considered swapping it for the rifle I had just purchased, but I didn't. It did make think yet again (after having played with Wildcat's and Bantam's) that there is a real gap in the market for.........wait for it........a really nice .22lr bullpup. :)

    Want it lots been waiting for a good review on this rifle and if you say it's good I'm starting to fill my pigy bank to get one . like you I love the pepper stock but I want it for hunting so it's probably going to be the soft touch (cheeper to so I can get it sooner) love the reviews keep up the good work

      Dr Paul, hope you are good. Haven't seen you at he range for a while! This guy is a real gentleman folks, there was a young disabled kid who couldn't afford to join our club and he didn't have a gun. The good Dr bought him a gun and paid all his fees. Credit where it's do IMO.

    Must have been a good review guys. So good. I bought one. Those who say it too expensive. Haven’t tried one. And the closest competitor in bullpup is the Daystate and that’s closer to £1500. This is the best BSA to date. And I really did my research first. Although I have the peppered black stock and it was less £1000

      WEIHRAUCH seems a better option, with their trigger and moderator its value would have a higher retention.

    Nice looking bullpup , expensive as well , and heavy. Only two calibers ? For much green you would think they would offer 25 at least ? I have the Edgun Leshiy 13 inches folded 23 inches shoot ready moderator included , plus its available in the 3 calibers that can be switched in the field with one allen wrench.Was it cheap ( no sir ) ! But it has more usable features. I like backpacking airguns that can be thrown in backpack and taken anywhere. It would take a bigger backpack to fit a 31 inch bullpup into , plus 10 pounds is kind of heavy. I do like the BSA Defiant . Would i buy it ? No . Looks like a high tone FX, sort of the same stying? I have the BSA Scorpion Se in .177 and i love that rifle but it is heavy as well. Accurate as all heck. Great backyard shooter with the 6 inch moderator all you hear is the hammer hitting the valve. Anyway nice video thanks for the review .

    A 1000 quid ! come on BSA what are you thinking, nice rifle but it will go down like a lead balloon when theres the likes of HW, Brocock, Air Arms, FX, etc all doing well for less money, ok its regulated in a semi configuration with a side lever, but you are late to the table as others offer these things for less. Hope you do well but to really do well you need to compete on price. Thanks for sharing Rack.

      @crypterchild 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weihwrauch don't make a bullpup... & FX, Air Arms & Brococks regulated bullpups are all £1000+.. 🤔

    Cool gun but the sling swivel stud is mounted to far forward, there’s no way you could attach a rail for a bipod without having the rail sticking past the front of the stock.

    I’m just getting bk into my shooting held one of these yesterday felt great but price too much imo can I ask for hunting mainly out of a car window what pcp would you go for? I had a air arms 410 years ago very happy with it but what’s your opinion

    • @s10m0t10n
      @s10m0t10n 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're after a real bullpup that you can use easily from a car window, take a look at the Zbroia Kozak. Pellpax are doing them for £540 (+delivery to your door). Choose from 2 lengths in both major calibres. They are getting excellent reviews.

  • @dazzazoneitin6827
    @dazzazoneitin6827 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mmm..to be honest the groupings are not good enough to go hunting with but i like the tactical soft touch the cocking action(its very smooth) and the trigger pull is fantastic.the price i think is ok compared to the wildcat,pulsar,galahad and renegade but the accuracy is terrible in my eyes for a rifle at this price it should be on par with my s510 and my hw100..come on bsa it needs to be better on accuracy else where are you going to shoot it,no good for target shooting def no good for hunting so where can you use it,whats the point in having one(apart from in a collection)Thats why ive sent mine back to bsa to see if they can sort it out..other than that the feel,the handling and the weight of the rifles fine for me,no issue with any of that and the shouldering is fantastic.mmmmm again just the accuracy is the biggest issue for me perhaps mine was just a dud knowing my luck it prob is.

    Way too heavy for a Bullpup why in the world would they make a Bullpup and it nearly way in 10 lb without a scope that is absolutely crazy you don't see any of the Wildcats way in 10 lb without a scope what are they thinking I don't even have a shotgun that weighs 10 lb I sure ain't going to buy an air gun that weighs 10 lb with a scope
