My number one tip is select plain papers for the components then add the interest after. It's hard to make a card look less busy - which can happen with some patterned papers.
1, 4 and 10 are my top three sketches. I love how you explain variations and imperfections. Crafting can be frustrating if we don't give ourselves wiggle room!
I’m currently on my 3rd set of these cards, for March I’m doing St. Patrick’s day themed. I love the way you explain your steps here. This is actually the first time I’ve sorted everything first, kinda like you did here.
You provided us some great tips, thank you very much. For KCC13, I really like sketches 1, 2 & 4. But there is something neat about every one of them and it would be fun to go through my scraps to see what could be used!
I always love your videos but today’s was even more informative. I sometimes get frustrated with the KCC process, but your 5 steps and detailed explanations have really helped shed some light for me. I so appreciate the 7th piece of 6x6 tip. I’m ready to tackle #13 now thanks to you! Much appreciated!
This is great and very helpful! I love how you broke everything down and explained the things you would do differently next time as well as sketches you probably won't use again. My favorites are #2, #8, #13 (and #7) Thank you!
I squealed seeing you had a new video uploaded! I so look forward to them. I had some old half used paper pads I almost threw out and thought , “what would Ashleigh do with these?” I tackle those pads and made 20 cards! 😊 This combo on this challenge is great! I need to try this challenge soon! 😊
These are great tips. I haven’t done one of the challenges yet - they seem a bit intimidating - but the way you break it down really helps. I like the way you batch all the processes. Having die cut elements and sentiments ready to go seems like a great timesaver.
I love card number 9; 10 and 7 most. But all of them are great, especially with these little gnomes and bees. Great pattern paper choice to go with them.
My favourite sketches in my January set were 2, 7, and 12. I haven't finished my February set, so my opinion may change ;) For 12, I matted on black cardstock and then used cardstock that was very close to Kodak yellow for the base - it gave it a lovely photographic look, especially with the vibrant papers I used.
This was such a super helpful video!! I’ve collected Kendra’s sketches but have felt pretty intimated by them. Not any more! Time to get craftin! Thank you!!! I can’t remember which ones were my fave. There were quite a few though!
This is so helpful how you begin. This is my first time using her sketches and I was put off when discovering that I had to find background color paper and the die cut the circles too.
What wonderful tips!! Thank you so much for sharing your process! I really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful cards! I really love card 9! But I love them all 😉
Thank you for showing your 5 step process! I've been afraid to try Kendra's challenge. Trying to figure out how to keep everything organized had me intimidated. I think i'm ready to tackle it now.
Thank you for the tips. I always cut out 3 versions using different papers (for each month) then struggle with finding sentiments that fit the designated shape. I never get the first month's done on time.
I am so impressed with your tips, Ashleigh, that I've saved this video.❤🎉 Thank you.
I'm so glad in was helpful!
Selecting paper is my main trouble!!. I love you're videos because you talk through your thought process!😘

Beautiful cards, wonderful tips. The card with thin stri ps is called a fracture card. I just made some for the first time.
In my experience everybody is so happy to receive a handmade card they don’t even see imperfections and if they do they feel special
Totally agree with you that non-directional paper works best for KCC#13. Lovely cards. TFS.
Yes it really does!

Nice choices!
I love the idea of using only 3 colors of matting. So much easier.
I try and simplify wherever I can.
Thank you for showing us your tips. My favorites are #2, 12 and 13
7, 11 and 5 are my favs as well as all your tips.
Really enjoyed this as I am trying this for the first time

I really enjoy the tips and tricks you use to the process your card making projects .

I really appreciate all of your process tips. YT is driving me crazy right now, trying to control what I watch and how. Very frustrating for me!
Loving the tips! Sharing your process is always so helpful. I love sketch 2 and 12❤

That's so fantastic. Nice work with the 20 cards!

I find it much easier doing it in stages. I don't like spending too much time on each card.

Thanks so much Kendra. I'm looking forward to doing KCC14!
#13 is my favorite!
The process is helpful
I'm so glad. Thanks for confirming.

You can do it!

Love these cards!! how long did it actually take you to make them all? takes me days to make my 15.
Where did you get your box from?
It was from the Paper Rose website during November sales. paperrose.com.au.
