We didn't really have to much time to do any mixing. This was just puttin the levels up on the fly before Jimmy had to go back home. This was the last project I got to record at the haunted ranch before everything went to hell!

Phil Anselmo referred to Jimmy Bower as the Godfather of Southern Blues-y-Sludge/Stoner-Metal because of his versatility as an artist. Man, Jimmy really can do anything...and it's ALL and ALWAYS so good! I really wish that this would come out as a precursor single to an entire album with the same emotion, cadence and slow-country-groove.

5am here. On back deck smoking ciggies. Sippin Dr. Pep. Cold n' rainy n' windy. Extremely greatful to have the luxury of walking back through that sliding glass door into that warm n' dry house.
The folks celebrate 40th wedding anniversary today. They're great souls and I love them very much!
