- On March 20. 1946, Justice Robert H Jackson, chief American Prosecutor, continued his cross-examination of the lead Defendant, Hermann Goering. There was dialog between Justice Jackson and Sir Geoffrey Lawrence regarding the ability of Goering to answer questions briefly of with explanation. Goering testified regarding preparations for the Final Solution of the Jewish Question, Heydrich's report concerning Crystal Night and his conference on the Jewish Question. Goering's voice is strong and very clear in enunciations. Wish we had his complete final statement to the court on one of these many short (and seemingly edited or cut) YT videos.
What's in the cut-out stuff and why was it cut out? To me, it's dishonoring history, not Jewish history, not German history - Human History

His Bavarian accent is rather mild making him easier to understand.
Hermann Göring speaks standard German (Hochdeutsch) with a noticeable (but not too strong) Bavarian accent. His speaking style and cadence are very direct, clear, and understandable (somewhat due to the necessary and multiple translations into Russian, English, and French).
Nuremberg laws have been heavily inspired by the Jewish laws about intermarriage, relationships with non jews and Laws of inheritance

Jackson was a great orator and a brilliant Justice. Unfortunately, Goering got the better of him. Jackson's questions were not strong. Maxwell-Fyfe of the UK did a much better job at cross examining Goering. On the other hand, Jackson's opening and closing statements were second to none.

I went through the cross examination transcript of Goering; it’s about 4 pages long and several 10s of thousands of words. Assuming it’s accurate, the man eventually goes on to admit to signing off documentation that gave light punishments to the murder of Jews and in some cases the murder of POWS. He also agreed to presented documents of correspondence coincidentally on the topic of Jews and POWS with Himmler and the secret police, who today are most known to have been actively involved in extrajudicial killings.
You can call this a kangaroo court or whatever you want, but based on the transcripts, any court out there today would agree he was an accessory to the persecution and murders of Jews and POWs. This is not to say this was his intention, but more so that he enabled it or created conditions for its existence.

Goering was a sociopath which is why I think he conducted himself so energetically during the trial. Sociopaths feel no guilt therefore at times they conduct themselves in a strong manner.
