Well, theat last kid is a terrible spy. Any competent one would have done their research on what was required to kill their target.
Shoulda used Carolina Reapers instead of Ghost Peppers...that might have worked. 😉
@@ironwolfF1 they should have used one of the X peppers whose would actually kill, tho they might have also turn on every biohazard alarm in 3 kilometer radius
Yep, complete incompetence.
I'm guessing they used... capsaicin?
Maybe.....or some straight grain alcohol.
Nevermind...the target was sampling a dish, rather than a drink.
@@ironwolfF1 I've had "bourbon" balls made using grain as a substitute - they kick!
@@ironwolfF1 didnt it say it was tea?
@@user-hl1tx7wl9b The master assassin was the one drinking tea (the source of my confusion as well).
He probely did poor research and concluded from a 20th century new article (about a man alergic to the caroliner reaper) that chilis would be deadly.
The ending vaguely reminds me of another where an assassin disguised as a waitress was trying to kill a human but failed every time. Capsacin, got him coffee and chocolate. Eventually, he thought she was hitting on him because those foods were hard to get. I want to listen to it again but I can not remember the name or even the full context.
Yup, I remember this story too. From about 2 months ago.
The spy was supposed to kill the human but kept failing. She wanted to get away from the human, so she eventually became a sailor on a long haul starship only to find the human was also deployed on the same ship...
@@DavidLee-df888her last attempt was to push him off a 10 meter or so cliff on a 0.6 G world. And IIRC, she couldn’t even push him off.
The Assassin in a gingham dress
@@kdmbigpig Yes, thank you.
@@TheSolidSnakeOil Net's read that one at least twice so it shouldn't take too much to find on this channel.
Must've been capsaicin....
spicy
Reg guy after not being able to handle the spice
"damn man. What are ya trying to do? Kill me?"
(I can think of 10 diff way that scenario can go lol)
So if i understand the story, the master assassin grab kids from the street, raise them as assassin's for 20+ years, made each of them do little job to in the end 1) kill loose ends and the partner 2) open a restaurant in the homeworld. All in the end for killing some random human with basically raw blackpepper in order to launch an all out war through an act of war by poisoning.
But that random human was just a nobody that just got a surprise in its meal.
Am I right ?
They failed to account for human poison resistance.
did they put some salt for a bit more flavor? they are going to be flooded with humans soonn for the extrat kick🤣
Capsaicin, probably. It's an HFY trope.
@@Mark73 i know that. what i am saying is that with salt the flavour get enchanced and it is poison to some species.
Y'all ever heard of a prairie fire?
Inconsiderate human! Failing to die as arranged.
(Laughing!!!!)🤣🤣
hey NN pls narrate "the princess and the human"
25th, I was at work 😢
Noice!!!
All of that build up, just for another, not even particularly good, humans like capsaicin joke?
Where is the end of the story
Good question.
Nuh uh!
Was the first half of the story really necessary?
I've never been this early
Wow second comment
