My 2008 EFI XL883C is experiencing what I think might be the same thing you were experiencing…mine starts great and runs around town fantastically but as soon as I get on the highway and cruise 55+ it feels like it hits a wall and studders…however if I crank on the throttle it picks right up until I go to cruise again…then it stumbles all over itself!?! Are these similar symptoms you were experiencing? Need advice…Thanks

those are the exact symptoms i had. i would gas it, studder, gas it studder...this fixed it immediately...

Replace spark plug 1st, which is a cheap start. Then, move to the fuel pump.
@@JRMSweeps done already along with front O2 sensor according to code reading,new KN air filter as well…next on to the filter and regulator…Thanks

I’m missing the white thingy that plugs into the bottom of the pump and hugs the wall of the pump .. ? What can I do to compensate ?
