Family guy even brings it up.. some 20+ years latter ..lol (don't remember the episode - its the one i think were Stewie and Brian try to help Chris's with his school assignment by taking him back in time)

In 1993 I lived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. There was still a penny store down the street from my house. My dad would give me and my brother's 50 cents each. We would fill up a brown paper bag with all kinds of candy. That was one of my core memories as a kid growing up in the 90's. Watching this Sinbad special was very nostalgic. Bitter sweet memories came back to life ❤
