Watching this gives me goosebumps. I was 12, the last time the lions won a home playoff game... this team, has brung the city back. So many detroiters around the country and the world, felt this in there hearts. I was born in Muskegon, currently live in the metro Detroit area, this made me so proud of the team abd and this city.

I was 12 too! I watched the game from my family's small farm in western Colorado. I'm a lions fan amongst a family of bronco fans. We win a playoff game and their team has sucked for almost a decade, woo!

I can't find the clip but I remember it vividly. When Goff was in LA and in some pregame warmups he said to Mcvay 'i feel fast today.' Mcvay said something like 'oh.. good' and then looked away and made a goofy ass face. Clearly making fun of Goff saying he felt fast. Yeah it's kinda funny for Goff to say that. But you're the head coach and with cameras and mics all over you. ... You publicly humiliate Goff. I'm so happy for Goff. Where I'm standing, Stafford is living in the house that Goff built. And Goff just built another one in Detroit. He had too, Stafford left nothing behind. Staffy took his passing records with him

As a bengals fan, I remember two years ago when we broke our 31 year playoff win drought 2 years ago, it was the happiest moment of my life. I remember sitting at the stadium after just tearing up and enjoying the moment. I know exactly how it feels. Enjoy it Lions fans and good luck the rest of the way!

I was at the last playoff win for the 1991 season. And I was at this game.
I went from a 21 year old single young man, long hair, playing in 2 bands, 3 nights per week, to a short haired, 53 year old married family man, Realtor.
I too was at the Cowboys playoff game in 1991. I was a zit faced 16yo! It was a lifetime ago as now I have four sons and three grandchildren!
I’ve had season tickets for 22 years! What an amazing night this was. I just watched this clip tonight with tears running down my cheeks!

Goff's first year with the Lions made me think he was burned out. Seemed like he was afraid to throw a deep ball, would only throw the safe ball. I really thought the Lions would draft a QB. Season 2 he started out slow but seemed to gain confidence with every game. Now I can't believe that we could have a better man at the helm than Goff.
Dan Campbell was who he needed to gain his confidence back plus this whole team is family!!! They are just great together!!!

I will always love Matt Stafford though he plays for the other guys now. He was the one who came to the Lions when they were 0-16 and won. He and his Lions beat the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs but were screwed twice by the refs at the end of the game. Having said these things, I am so proud of Goff, Coach and the whole team and what they are accomplishing. Go Lions. Tis about time.

I was trying to do the math in my head when they got the first down and just said to my son "I think that's it." Made me think of my dad who would have loved to have been here for this. Was 8 in 57 so didn't remember any of that so he only really had 1 playoff win to remember.
Totally not what he's thinking, but it's my story: McVay's look = "I can't believe a meathead and a no-talent QB beat me."
See so many bad takes coming out of this. About how KJ's hit is dirty. That's on Stafford exposing Higbee and NFL rules dictating that's where it's ok to tackle. Don't like to see injuries, but they happen. Players have fractions of milliseconds to react and it's unfortunate the result, but the other could be a flag for hitting a defenseless receiver. What else could KJ have done AS A PLAYER in that moment (not the armchair analyst community)?
The second is "the refs screwed LA." Sucks doesn't it? Now you know how it feels. More than that call wasn't made and other calls were terrible. It seemed the refs let them play.
I think it every game: 'I should turn it off and they'll win.' So glad I didn't. This season was a rollercoaster, but man what a ride. So glad I got to see this. See you all next week after we sink the Buc's. #OnePride
