    Wait a minute man.!
There are second question, we can understand you because you are not using idioms and local culture.
Ok, but why we do not understand idioms and English speakers cultures ?.
The reason here is: we studied English from books, not by dealing with native speakers.
Because we studied English from books not from native speakers community, we can not understand: idioms, culture references, and also .... accent.!
Yes, accent also. The native speakers use hard accent that hard to non-native to understand.
The best example are me and my daughter.
I learned English from the office activities because we use English in emails, and also most of catalogs are in English, while we live in Arabian country, and we never meet with native speaker.
My daughter learned English from TH-cam.! She started when she was 1 years old until now she is 6 years old.
She watch English songs for children and educational videos. By this early interacting with natives, she can speak and understand natives normally, while it's difficult for me to do that.

Many teachers online have addressed this issue and some of them have started changing the way they teach English by using video clips from movies, series, and TV shows and explaining what's being said like linking, reductions and common expressions. It is time to leave classroom English behind and start teaching real English. The English we listen to on a daily basis. Great video as always. Thanks.

Thanks Luke for making me the lucky one.Is it because of my Mexican plus Chinese name? Haha, just kidding. Anyway, thanks a lot for your cause analysis and suggestions.Do appreciate it. And I do believe a lack of understanding of your cultural reference could be one of the biggest reasons. I will follow your suggestions and hopefully some significant progress can be made with hard work. Thanks again.
