The Artful Horror of You Won't Be Alone

Women play a lot of roles in our lives, asked to fulfil an endless barrage of our demands, a life full of expectations with little to no less satisfying reward left in the end, humanity owes a lot to women
However provides the bare minimum and in certain cases even that can be considered as too much to be offered in return, it's a thankless and harsh world to be a woman in this male dominated society
And this is reflected in the cinema we are subjected to, where they and their femininity is used to justify the motives of the other sex, they are seen as a means to exercise the greatness they can offer but can never be themself
And when it comes to the genre of horror woman don't have it easy either, for the longest time they were presented as the victim who were sexualized and met their demise after they fulfilled that requirement
The sort of roles they were offered with usually aligned with what the audience wanted at that moment of time, it's not like that has been completely rectified, majority of the films that get released nowadays cater towards the "male gaze"
In this and the past decade we have been treated with various films with far more sensible portrayal of women, some are great some are misunderstood and some are simply bad, but the one to be focused here is truly unique by every means
Voice V - Well this was way tougher than I expected it to be
Voice S - How so?
Voice V - To be honest with you, I don't know
Voice S - Was it a challenging topic?
Voice V - Not exactly, but it had it's moments
Voice S - So, how did it make the process difficult?
Voice V - Well for starters, I was all over the place while thinking and writing about it
Voice S - And why it was like that?
Voice V - My thought process was constantly taking different routes
Voice S - And coming up with different starting points, right?
Voice V - Yes! It was kind of like that
Voice S - That can be frustrating
Voice V - It was and suprisingly a lot, that too for a topic that was this short
Voice S - Oh yes, I was meaning to ask you this, why the shorter length?
Voice V - I don't know, felt trying something different
Voice S - Things getting dull again?
Voice V - Not per se, however always working on films can make it somewhat repetitive
Voice S - Isn't that what you wanted?
Voice V - Yes, I did, but switching certain things can be interesting and it was
Voice S - Well, as long as you are content with it I'm happy

As most of you might have already figured out from the length of the video that it is somewhat different from my previous work, the writing is more straightforward in nature and gets directly to the point
The structure of it is shorter, nothing foreign to me, but it doesn't feature the usual slower intro with some tangents and the reason behind that roots from the turbulent days leading to me working on it
I wasn't able to focus on what topic i should work with after being done with my last one, the lack of ideas wasn't the issue, it's just that I was having a tough time figuring out which one will work the best
This lead to me postponing and procrastinating until I was dead set on this one, the process wasn't easy at all, I was struggling with the introductory section of the video for quite some time
I halted everything for almost two weeks, but luckily found a breakthrough and it worked out nicely, still this doesn't mean that this format will be continued or applied into my future works
There will no changes to them, only for one more video that will be releasing this month, thereafter post the conclusion of this current season things will get back to the usual, that being more vulnerable and personal subject matters
However before we get to that point, I wanted to get done with some of the projects shorter in length, as this lesser known folk horror demanded for the script to be of bit sized
