  • Welcome to the Institute of Tibetan Thangka Art. Nestled at the base of the Himalayas in Dharamsala, India, fondly called 'Little Lhasa' - the rich tradition of Tibetan art flourishes.
Renowned teachers work with talented young artists in the tradition of their master, the late Ven. Sangye Yeshe.
Artists of this school have painted the murals of the Potala, Norbulinka, and many of Tibet's famous monasteries, as well as thangkas for His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The ITTA should make contact with the the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist cultural center of Bloomington Indiana!!! We have a small but strong Tibetan, Mongolian, and Manchu cultural connection around the area!!!

U should remove website link given n discription (tibetartschool) coz this link institution based in USA n they dnt give any credit to present teacher n ther website also any commission n fund support will directly benefit tibetartschool not the actual institute (ITTA) which is based in Dharamshala (INDIA)
N ur video s all about ITTA institute Dharamshala India...

Do we have to do some kind of prayer or pooja before drawing Thangka?🙏🏻please help.

You don’t have to but you want to pay homage to the gods. You can start by chanting: om mane padme hum.
