Sandip M thanks for the quick response. In my current project we are NOT using relationship tables. We have foreign key relationships between parent and child. So when i soft delete parent it changes hub state indicator=-1 for parent. all children are unchanged. All children are active records

Expection was that the soft delete should have worked
Need to check what configuration you have made.
