If you are going to bring in a defensive coordinator that is aggressive and likes to blitz, you need to have the corners that can play man coverage. The Rams do not have the corners to do that. Witherspoon and Kendrick are slow. If they are going to make a deep playoff run next season along with being healthy they’re going to have to upgrade their secondary and definitely sign in free agency a serious pass rusher!
Staley isn't a leader. Great defense coordinator, uninspired head coach. Mistake for him to get another head coach job. As a defensive coordinator under a great head coach, he'll be just fine.
Ive said this before and ive never held in my feelings about that defense Morris ran...it was absolutely awful!! I would NOT hire anyone that coached under Morris because that same BS scheme will be ran and our defense will get thrashed. Bring back Brandon Staley and if not Staley, it needs to be Martindale. I could not bare another cowardly DC that just sit back and let retread QB look like Dan Marino
Funny how you guys are quick to anoint a DB's coach because his team had the #1 defense yet his position was arguably the weakest on the defense but Staley who had a #1 defense as the coordinator for our own team is po po because he failed as a head coach. Its confusing to say the least!

Love you guys, but have to absolutely disagree with your take on rooting for the Lions. After the way their fan base treated Stafford, disregarded the blatant non call on Puka that he would of caught as he hadn't dropped a ball all day, the ball was thrown perfectly and Puka was blatantly pulled down by jersey and right hip that would of won us the game, and most importantly the low class Lions fans now already screeching about getting the better end of the Rams Lions trade all has to be kicked to the curb immediately period. We'll deal with the Whiners hopefully losing to the Chiefs later.

That defense doesn’t work against afc teams or the niners . We need to try to evolve and bring more of a gritty style and not missing tackles

Staley had the #1 defense 3 full years ago. League changes quick and rather be ahead of the curve. Said that a few times in this episode.

We hate the 49ers above all else. It’s rooted in the fandom. Was really just hoping for a good game and like seeing SF in disappointment.
