It’s finally the 5th winning day on the funded account with Topstep. Although the account is only up $600, I’ll gladly request a $300 payout to cover the account fee and some gains. It’s honestly impressive to know that this super-scalping strategy has gotten this far in passing the eval + getting a payout. I will continue to test this method further while also working on my regular day trading study.
I agree, once you request a payout the drawdown resets to zero. So you have no room for error with your current strategy unless you down size massively. I would suggest your wait till your trailing drawdown locks in if you want to keep trading with your current size.
I actually requested for roughly $300 in payout. That leaves me with $1700 max draw limit which is sufficient for this account. Also since this is relatively new strat that I am testing, don't want to regret not pulling out the initial investment.
@Asian.hustle no you lose your drawdown once you make a payout, it will go to 0, so you will only have the remaining $300 you made as a buffer. This information is mentioned on the payout screen when you're touching them boxes before proceeding with the payout. I am also a XFA funded as well.
Ah wait you're completely right. It does reset to $0. Haha it's all good. If i do blow this, I do want to move to a topstep or a diff platform. Hopefully I don't blow it tho!
funny how people in comments, are telling him to fix something 0_0, there are traders who make bank even on negative risk reward, he's tryna find what works for him, Keep going!

If you request a payout now you'll lose your drawdown, it will be at $0. Instead of -$1400

What platform is this?

Bro your Risk To Reward is straight trash. Sorry but you need to fix this to win in trading!
Bro on what basis u take ur trades
None 😂😂😂
Can you not automate this strategy?
I would think you can but I'm also going with some of my intuition to take it or not.
