I love the Daily Agenda, I figured that out the other day. It was quite frustrating trying to figure out though since it wasn't so apparent. Also, for each calendar that you have, you have to select email Daily Agenda for them too. Google will only email you one daily agenda but will showcase which calendar the events belong to in the email.

Hey Steve! Great overview of some fabulous GCal features. Always love your videos!
I noticed that you use one of my favourite features but didn't mention it in your video - the ability to show a secondary timezone on the left side of your calendar view. Super handy for people who have a regular need to schedule appts outside of their home timezone. : )

Hello, Very helpful video here. I might also suggest /add that you can add your facebook profile as a calendar. I was getting alot of invites from friends to events that might be happening around town .....and I found that you can have these "events" populate on your calendar so you don't miss them or schedule "over" them. Very helpful. I will also add that i use the "tasks" as a "To Do" list and can add or subtract from it daily and move whatever i wasn't able to accomplish, over to the next day easily .....or to a later date that I might have more free time on to accomplish it. Keep up the good videos!

How do I mark an event completed? and hoe can an uncomplete event carry over till it's done? …...Maybe like a task list with priorities?

    Hi Steve,
thanks for the tutorial which is really interesting and full of information.
I would like my calendar to start from 7 AM until 11 PM.
Once there was a tool that allowed you to "compress" the night hours, but then Google removed it.
So now when I am in the weekly view, I see displayed all hours of the day and I have to continuously scroll up and down.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
    Thanks from Italy.

Greetings Mr. Dotto. Love your videos. I did consider using Google Calendar and I can see that it is a terrific system, but a cursory-ish look suggested that the sync between desktop and mobile is very confusing. There is an Events calendar on my mobile which is called by my full Name on the desktop. The Contacts calendar is visible on desktop but not on the mobile. There is a Birthday Calendar in the mobile version but none on the desktop. I realise that this might be a simple matter of tweaking the default settings but what if it’s not. So, since I am in a hurry, in the meantime I have decided to use the iOS calendar for now (all my devices are Apple) with a promise to myself that I will learn about Google Calendar. So my question to you is this... do you have any video/s in your catalogue that covers my above confusions. Thanks.

I am searching for a tool which provides such thing like adding to favourites or something similar to it. Many thanks :)

Hi Steve, quick question on the sharing bit. My wife has a business account, and within that account, she has multiple calendars depending on the type of appointment. For instance, "Counselling" "Service" and a couple more. Is there a way she could share her status (whether it being "busy" or "free"), without the need of sharing all the different calendars with me? One work-around I'm trying to check is if the google hangouts status will change to busy if you have an event or calendar, as that would do the trick. Thanks in advance!

Can you make video on accepting calendar invitations and then correcting the hour and sending / sharing the updated info to everybody else? I had a very bad experience that it only corrected on my calendar - in spite having editing rights on the google cal event someone sent to me - but the corrected hours, were only in my calendar and not updated in the cals of all the others.... everybody arrived at the wrong time.

Is there a reoccurring anniversary/birthday feature in Google Calendar that will post that let’s say that my daughter & husband will be celebrating there 5th wedding anniversary. dottotech The brand new (4/26/18) Gmail has a sidebar that can pop up a calendar, showing by day's agenda, which, for basic users, is easier to use than opening a message. Ghe new version is rolling out now with some feature not yet working right for non-paid accts, but it's different enough that I think that you should plan to do a video on it in about 30-60 days, and start taking down some of the outdated videos covering the other versions of Google apps.

Not understanding why G-calendar with all the other 'hoop-la' it has, does not have annotation. I think people like to write on their calendar. Maybe I'm wrong, but that is a deal breaker for me.

Google Calendar works well except for one glaring omission.
Google decided to remove the sync between photos and drive, so now there is no way to add a photo that you have in Google Photos into an event on Google Calendar.
On android, I should be able to create an event and then add a picture from the phone storage, from Drive, from Photos, or from the camera directly.
Any help with getting Google to sit up and finish the job will be gratefully appreciated.
